Same here. I was there for 10 years. Don't ask me how I did it. We never had anything like this happen in our store. Now, the manager telling the 3 people they had to clock out was not a good idea, because there weren't many people they could call on short notice.

Ben Heintz A old lady who work at burger king yelled at me for whatever reason. I never went back to that one particular joint. That's the risk of hiring an unprofessional representative. It's absolutely Wendy's fault and he is not wrong to stop going there. I see so many people here commenting as if they know how to run a business but clearly have no clue what they are talking about. Costumer is hard to get, losing one is very easy. There is a reason many businesses has the policy that costumer is always right. And yelled in the hotel room across from you and woke you up, the hotel representative better give them a serious warning. If they ignore those yelling, it's absolutely the hotel management's fault. Logically what costumers do often time don't make any sense, but emotionally they are entitled to it, and you can't control their emotion.

He said the manager threatened her, but the woman is at the front counter, and the manager is at the back of the store. Clearly, this guy staged it. He even says to lie to the video recording. The other woman didn't confirm it. Instead she said she doesn't fell comfortable on the video, which doesn't make sense if the manager actually did threaten her. And, the guy takes away customer time to make a phone call instead of serving customers. He can make calls after his shift. Just an excuse for him to stop working and blame the manager.

My first job was at Wendy's. Can confirm that management treats everyone like crap.

At any job the main manager treats people like crap. I work at kfc, and whenever someone messes up, the GM takes it out on the managers even though they had nothing to do with it. The reason we are low on workers is because he flips shit whenever someone screws up or says something he doesnt like. Hes gotten better though (thats not saying much). He threw a tray i the back and almost hit my sister in the head with it. And yes. It was a metal trey we use to put the chicken and stuff on. And no one wants to tell corporate because the people theyll send will make the job 100X more miserable, and the owner of the building would just tell us that if we did our job he wouldnt be like that. Which is bullshit, but i digress.

Apparently, she is a manager who doesn't treat her workers with respect. He was on the phone reporting her to another manager. And from what I've seen in the comments, she has a history of mistreating workers. Just because she's the manager doesn't mean she has the right to violate work ethics and work morale. That guy was right in calling to report her. No one in any place of work should have to tolerate any kind of verbal abuse.

I don't think she did anything wrong. It's obvious the employee is very unprofessional and need to move on. We need strong supervisor like her. I would promote her.
