Eddie is such a perfect host. Hides his laugh to not ruin the chaos, stay quiet when convos are happening, and then trolls dave once the interviews are over. Cant teach that.
It’s the most ridiculous flex of all time. It’s one of the most important examples of Art Deco architecture of all time not to mention in King Kong and many films and tv episodes.
One of best rundown moments within past couple years was when Oday was walking through hallway & the part of office that could see him was laughing. & Brandon walker was like what's going on? Then Oday turns corner & BFW sees Oday for first time w the short shorts & he goes "Good God" 🤣
What should he have said? Dave was bullying no matter what he said, I would say he diid the best thing to stay calm and dont get elevated. He got a massive deal and we all should be happy for him. Except Dave.
13:43 Eddie: Tyler, are you disappointed in Dave's reaction, Tyler? Dave: *like a missile "How can anybody think any otherwise of the empire state building Eddie, what a joke" Eddie: I asked Tyler... Classic Portnoy rant lol
I know this is typically Dave’s schtick and I admit at times it was funny but god damn I felt like that was really messed up. O’Day wanted to go out like a man and got trashed in front of the whole world. Play a big part behind the scenes of growing his brand and business and couldn’t even get a thank you. Ruthless
The stress of succeeding is a drug. He literally has said he's going to drag Penn to the finish line if he has to. Someone close to him may want to have a word for his mental and physical health.
i was part of the viceroy program in college and tyler couldn't have been a better, mature, professional dude to work for/with. Honestly super lame for dave to do that given how big tyler likely was behind the scenes
In a fucked up way, Dave was really nice to tyler O'Day. If your leaving a job and your boss just says "goodluck" and acts nice it would feel like they never fought to keep you.
@@maxwellhavens8338 i disagree. I think Gaz stated the epitome, barstool is such a dream place to work that you have to grind and tyler didnt want to grind as hard but also didnt want to betray the barstool way. But i think thats only half accurate. Made men dont do grunt work anymore and tyler was close to being made.
@@chroniccomplainer3792 he’s been there 4+ years if dave took care of him (ultimately his job no matter what) he would never leave it’s that simple dude
After O'Day announced his resignation to work social media for empire state building, I'm not sure if Dave is a genius by going after the building immediately knowing it would boost the social media following or if he's truly angry at them for poaching a client. Either way huge win for Empire state building and O'day
Dave asking him "what do you do, besides sing?" is pretty much the icing on the cake for the dude lol. Been at Barstool 5+ years and Dave only knows he can sing and knows nothing about his actual job
Agreed. He tried to do the right thing by talking to Dave man to man. And in the end, Dave was even more Dave than he expected. He’s gonna sleep well knowing he made the right decision.
Tyler: *Tells Dave he’s quitting Dave: “Sing me a sad song Tyler” Tyler: *Actually sings a sad song for Dave* ONE OF THE MOST FUNNIEST THINGS IVE EVER LAUGHED AT😂😂
If barstool doesn’t bring their gambling app to Canada and uses Score media’s app then fine but y’all better give us a chance at the OVERS CLUB… we’ve waited too long to be excluded 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Respect to Bar Stool. Their employees are being sought after by multi billion dollar companies/buildings/corporations. Portnoy has laid the foundation of an emerging empire. Congrats
@Trent Wade No…I think they make no money and the renters and occupants are philanthropists. Cmon man. That’s not a well thought out question Trent. Over 1,750,000sf of real estate in the financial Mecca of the richest country on the planet…? Yes, they make billions of dollars in that building. Every year…and more.
@Trent Wade is that a serious question? New York is the financial capital of the world and that’s one of the most famous buildings in New York City / world
@@charlie1832 kid deleted his comments, but the Empire State Building is iconic in so many regards. From the movie scenes, tourist potential, statement of NYC, etc.
Dave blinded by his own rage will drive up traffic for the empire as people will flock to see what happens next. Tyler will be viewed as a bigger success than they ever could have imagined and he will have Dave to thank for it. :p
Yea I don’t think Marty Mush and Brandon Walker are worth a dime outside of Barstool. He just assumes all the behind the scenes people are just as useless. Pft is nothing without Big Cat. All the guys who could do stuff without Barstool aren’t in HQ. Spittin Chicklets, Million Dollars worth of game, Barstool Riggs growing the golf stuff, even Kirk Minihane was a top radio host before and he isn’t at HQ
Dave isn’t understanding 2 things for sure. 1. The part where Tyler said he wanted to shift to a different industry - I think that’s fair! He was a loyal employee for 5 years it’s not like he used barstool to further his career. He was honest about that. 2. “Work life balance” meant that Tyler 1st: wanted a less public job and 2nd: better hours to balance job and real life. “He’s working for a building” is fucking hilarious though
Dave took this so personally obviously, and parlayed it into electric Twitter beef with a building...which is the best publicity the Empire State Building has gotten in years
Barstool could easily be waaaaaaaaaaaay bigger than the Score in Canada, with some more Barstool effort up north. Lots of stoolies out here, we are more than just Chiclets
also not as many annoying loud cocky 30 year old's stuck in frat house type mentalities in Canada, I couldn't imagine anybody normal that I know whos not 15 self Identifying as a stoolie anyways.
On paper, it’s pretty hilarious that he’s leaving barstool to run a social media account for a building lol. But in reality that’s honestly really cool, to be social media manager for one of the most famous structures in the world. Good luck to Tyler and his future.
Dave is gonna have to offer a crazy raise, and some help. The man is young, he needs time to enjoy the fruits of his labor. Dave is intelligent enough to offer an insane deal to O’Day to keep.
After seeing this guy on the rundown. I feel like he is going in on moving up there quick. So congrats to him... He’s got an easier job making more with a quick ride to running the building possibly? Which is gotta be a million+ at least a year in New York it’s a dump now but still very cool.
I'm going to miss Tyler, he's one of the best personalities in the Barstool universe a genuinely funny guy. Best of luck Tyler. Dave rarely is this bothered at employee's leaving so you know Tyler was exceptional at his job!
good play by the Empire State - they figured out that Barstool has been promoted very well online and there must have been other talents behind it, besides Portnoy . They figured out who to hire
Also, I still think all the good easily outweighs anything Dave did in this video. It makes for good content too watch as well, so not even hating on Dave. He knows what works.
@@strika1140 I’ve been thinking about this. He kinda made the guy a celebrity in the last few days by blowing up the whole thing. In a way he helped him, maybe on purpose?
As an NCAA DIII Head coach, we have been told that Barstool is a non-starter because of the gambling affiliation and would affect their eligibility. This has been the only company mentioned.
