@@AnthaneusI don't like the ideas of copying the video 1:1, rather I think having the same premise played out differently (e.g different shot compositions) works better
honest to god the ultimatum format works perfectly with lethal company. some kid out there probably thinks this is the original. I suppose that's what good art does.

I loosely followed AlkaroSmb's comment on his Noita's Ultimatum video (actually was the first ultimatum redraw), he explains it very thoroughly there so check it out, its pretty funny. I prob wouldn't have attempted this without that dude and his videos, mad respect @Desadaptado ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-s1eJFHbxCaI.html Condensed version: I took a less skilled / more time consuming approach since I don't have and don't know how to use real animation software. Downloaded original video and ran VLC scene filter to extract all frames, separated these into 21 cuts. Brainstormed equivalent lethal company references for the whole thing. For each cut, found number of unique frames and opened as layers in GIMP. Recreated these in proper resolution (I accidentally made it higher resolution, oops) and in lethal company style using 3px pencil brush outline and colors from game. For some, make pngs to be reused with different layers, later using ref frames in video editor to animate simply. Exported these and used a batch renamer to make sequentially named images for each cut, with the same number/content of frames for each. I used davinci resolve for video editing, it lets you import a folder of sequentially named images as an animated video (and its free). From here, set clip lengths and timeline to be the same as original (helps to put the original on a track for reference). Other stuff included: making a shitty 3D model of the forest keeper and panning around it for the ITS GIANT clip, used chroma and luma key for transparency. Added text/transitions/effects. Ending sequence is mostly clip art and such with motion transitions. For audio, there's a clean version of the song on YT somewhere, so I used Audacity to make an audio track with the proper SFX, and added a voiceover with a shit ton of filters on it.
