EMPRESS OF DEATH! Terraria 1.4 Journey's End, Master Mode Let's Play Multiplayer Gameplay Ep 26

With no initial plan or info, we take on the Empress of Light! Needless to say, it takes a few tries as we evolve our strategies (none of us had ever faced her before, or read up on the fight ahead of time). Plus we finally get everything we wanted from the Martian Madness invasion, and we begin to prepare for the end!
Terraria 1.4 Journey's End Master Mode playthrough, multiplayer let's play gameplay episode 26, PC coop!
This was all from long before I faced the Empress solo or made a guide on the subject, so you get to see what it was like on the first try (well, tries)!
My friends have never been this far into the game... so of course we're playing on the hardest world difficulty. I had to explain a lot on the way, so there are plenty of tips!
This was actually recorded on 1.4.0 last year... editing this much gameplay takes a LONG time!

Got my Terraprisma yesterday on Xbox. i used the black spot mount and the zenith. Reforged everything for attack instead of warding because she one shots you no matter you defense. That took care of her pretty easily.

quick question, how are you guys respawning in mastermode? I thought that if you died, that's it, character deleted for good- (part of the reason why I've been avoiding MM for now until i get a good surplus of maxed out expert mode characters on the PS4)

also, I'm curious if teleporters are good enough to cheese EoL? i mean, that's good enough for moon lord, so if it's good enough to avoid the big man himself, it might be good enough for her by teleporting around her in a circle or pentagram fast enough??? i mean, teleporters are considered op in the right circumstances.

although I do have another method in mind involving water, the flamingo mount, a system of teleporters and buttons to build up speed, and having some space between to rocket straight up before colliding with the upper most button and being teleported back to the build up chamber and being sent back up again? basically it's like a lance cannon tech kinda thing, but it might be more so to go fast enough to hopefully evade maybe??? maybe I'm just getting ahead of myself.

Master mode, expert and classic/normal are world difficulty settings, they don't change how your character works. There's a separate difficulty setting for your character, which decides whether you can respawn etc. Used to be called softcore/mediumcore/hardcore, where hardcore is the one where death is permanent. I feel like they changed the names maybe?

As far as the teleporters, I haven't tried, but with the right setup it would probably work.

@@grobeman I've seen one for pc, but so far it's a long straight line in the sky and not very complex, just abuses the auto pause feature, will keep looking for ways to do it on console, if i recall, there is one that is like a circle / pentagram of teleporters that's used for fighting moonlord, and I'm curious if it's fast enough to keep EoL in the center or not (probably not, she's faster than QB)

Played through every class? Specific weapon type challenges? Building projects? If you're playing on PC, there are plenty of mods, adventure maps, etc.
