I'm very surprised with this track, do more colabs with her in the future, her timing and pronunciation is addictive. This song vies for the top track of the album. Still, they all seem like bangers. Each day I give the whole album a playthrough I find myself loving each individual track until I'll probably love everything on the album- for me I don't think I've ever said that about any other album. GUNSHIP and the crew really did kill it all with fire with this release.

There's a phrase I often hear; you can't create good music or movies with a community. Sure you get to assemble the best parts, but inevitability in choosing to cater to a wild audience you lose something along the way. It's not true of all artists, and I wouldn't ever besmirch taste as music is subjective, but this album threw a bunch of themes together which in mind keeps it fresh. A peppy pep song amongst the more atmospheric tracks means that while there are songs that aren't as favoured as others (I have to be in the right mood to listen to the last two tracks, mainly because I don't like saying goodbye), I can't say I ever get bored listening through it either. I guess keeping it to the band, Lights and Tim Capello means that it's pretty well intended. It's pop but with a fast zing. I love it. I might check out Savant when I next get opportunity.

I hope the day comes when instead of 75% of all comments for Gunship songs featuring Tim Capello are people who feel the need to mention “The Lost Boys”, like nobody else knew that, we get all of the RU-vid clips of Tim in The Lost Boys - or doing ANYTHING- getting blown up with repeats of “hey, it’s the Gunship sax guy!”.

The chorus of this song sounds like it's about the min character of my favorite book, "Kitty Cat Kill Sat" by Argus. She's immortal and runs a space station that has more weapons than most countries, and she's super messed up emotionally from being along for so long. Great read if you like scifi!
