You are doing a great work and i love your videos but i think the nature of human is not that of good or evil but that of ego, even love comes from a very selfish need.
Thank you so much 🙏🔥. I agree that ego plays a big part. Ego is the source of vulnerability, resentment, hate, jealousy and so many other things. But I think that true love comes from detachment. Because we can only love someone truly if your happiness and well-being does not depend on them. If it's solely depends on another person, it might be transactional rather than a connection between two souls. What do you think?

If one principle is respect, why would one keep a partner who does not respect you? I think there are enough potential partners in the world, who align with one's values and principles. Staying with a partner who is not respecting you, indicates that you do not respect yourself. Sometimes people stay with a toxic partner, because they depend on it like someone who depends on a drug. They confuse love with addiction. What do you think?
@@philosophyboss but if you get rid or distancing yourself from someone who cause you to feel bad it is just comes to show that our nature is not that of love but of ego. yesterday there were so many ants in my apartmant i killed them beacuse i had to, to kill a living thing beacuse he makes thing uncomftorble is not very loving. although ego can bring to a lot of selfless acts.. when looking at history or even now you will always find that people do things for there own benefit regardless of love and hate evil and good .
In 0:30 when you said that you think humans are good, inside me I can only disagree with this. I'm 17 but everyday I need to deal with people with no empathy, that acts without thinking about the consequences, how it would affect others. I just see everyone being bad, thinking about themselves and not caring about others. And the ones who are empathetic, get hurt because everyone abuses them How can I change my perspective? I trully wanted to be more positive, but everyday I see evil in humanity
Thank you for sharing. Yeah that’s exactly the point. The default mode of humans is strength, love, compassion. As you said many people act selfishly, oppressive and destructive, not because of their strength, but because of their weakness. Instead of dealing with their pain and trauma, they pass it on to somebody else. If you have empathy, you can start to regard those people as who they really are (weak and hurt). Having empathy does not mean tolerating everything and becoming a victim, but rather having the strength to not be consumed by their negativity. Hope could clarify this. Have a good one 🙏🔥
