Great video! I like how much details you put in the subtitles :) Since 2017 there are huge works on the line going trough Kraków (or as we call it: "the diameter" line - "średnica"). The line is going to be upgraded from 2 tracks to 4 tracks, a completely new bridge on Wisła river is under contruction and a historical viaduct (former bridge over old Wisła) over Dietla Street is being widened and renovated. It is the biggest project on this line since its contruction and opening in XIX century. Thus, the only one track is under operation now, so there is lack of capacity. Many of long-distance trains are diverted trough Nowa Huta and Podłęże, cause the main line is mostly kept for local commuter trains. Btw, it's terrible, how slowly the trains are going trough Silesia, it has always been the problem, it feels when you enter Poland :/ Your point about ÖBB's cars on the Austrian line to Przemyśl - that's right! Actually, a little more than 100 years ago Graz - Przemyśl would have been a domestic connection ;)

Great video! At 14:53 you can see the original manual train information system in Přerov station. It remained there even after reconstruction as a beautiful peace of history. It says: Passanger train to Bohumín and for the other track : Express to Prague.

From new time table 20/21 journey between Katowice and Kraków takes 1h15min by regional train. Rerouting trains not by Zebrzydowice and Czechowice is good movement hence more passenger has an access to direct trains to Krakòw. Don't know how modernisation between Zebrzydowice - Czechowice - Oświęcim - Kraków is going but I hope travel between Bohumin and Krakòw will drop to less than 2 hrs after all construction works. Good video as always.

Wow what a long trip from Vienna in Austria all the way to premyszl in Eastern Poland via Czech Republic. The Czech coach looks the best in my opinion. Hopefully passanger numbers have recovered on this route since then.

From 13.12 the fastest train fir example IC Wawel from Katowice to Kraków Główny is going 80 km in 57 minutes. The modernize is still at this moment as well as the jobs from Kraków Główny to Kraków Płaszów building 4 new tracks and bridge crossing Vistula River. Regards!

The Katowice - Krakow railway line on the Myslowice - Krakow section has been adjusted to a speed of 160 km/h, but now 120 km/h is allowed. So the fact of driving the train with the EU07 locomotive practically did not matter here.

Very nice train, but as you see so often, the inside colours do not match these of the outside. That leverage is absolutely stunning ! Interior of the TGV is the coolest ! And the black seats in the ICE first class as well !

Meanwhile this train carries a Swiss panorama car. I'm booked on it in May! But even though it should regularly have a restaurant car it usually doesn't because ÖBB has a shortage of working dining cars. I'll take my own food along.

For a Single locomotive to make Graz Premzyl it must have Former Czechoslovakia Mirel SHP Poland and DB ÖBB PZB Sifa that means EU44 Huzarz ÖBB Baureihe 1216 or CD380. If EU44 locomotive can be replaced at Wien Hbf that means 1016/1116 Graz Wien then EU44 Wien Breclav Bohumin Premzyl. If you go inside a Polish EU07 it's a tap Changer like a British Railways Class 83 & Deutsche Reichsbahn Baureihe 250

30:25 EU07 means: Electric universal. It can drive with cargo and passenger cars. EP07, 08, 09 means electric passenger (in polish it makes sense) so it's ment to drive with passenger cars. That's why EU07 is slow.

"the entire infrastructure around Wien Hbf was rebuilt"...............wrong, Wien Hbf is a completely new station with completely new surroundings, after the old Süd Bhf and its surroundings were completely torn down. Wien Hbf came into use in 2014 and was fully integrated a few years later, reducing the Westbahnhof to a regional hub, and Südbahnhof as nonexistent
