I love your apartment! Dark brown can be a neutral like white or black so, you can actually pair any color with it. Your style, to me seems bright hippie with vintage. I could be way off because I'm just basing it on the flowers with the mirror. But if I'm anywhere remotely right, i think you should look into those styles and colors and use that as inspiration for backsplash in your kitchen. If you get a mobile island, you can use the same backsplash on the front of the island to keep things cohesive. Hope that helps❤ Also CONGRATULATIONS 🎉
