It's expensive, but I just subbed this for regular super 8 for a music video project that timeline wise would not have allowed us to shoot real super 8. To make this pack, they took the time to shoot and scan multiple films on multiple cameras. When you take that into consideration, it's a pretty good deal. Especially when you see that it's the best emulation on the market
I think the emulation looks great. Spot on. But I'm not a fan of the sprocket hole look that seems to be the trend these days for super 8 films on RU-vid. Can that be taken out easily without cropping/zooming? Can you do a whole 16:9 without it? I realize super 8 was more 4:3 in aspect ratio, but I'm more interested in the film look emulation itself.
great product, I bought your Fake Film Lab but when I put it in (following the instructions from the video in Davinca) the Power Grades don't behave normally. Some are not well centered and the video overlaps on the upper parts of the frame.
hi. im having trouble with the power grade set up. whenever I try to drop the scans into Davinci, a screen pops up saying "unable to import still" and the scans could not be accessed. any tips on how I can fix that?
Hey ! I just bought your pack and found the pdf to download the file. The downloading fail at the last Ko. I'm on mac and I try with Brave, safari and After restarting the computer Do you have any Idea ?
hi, i just bought the pack and its awesome but i have a question, how can i change the settings of the things that i dont want? for example, i`d like to decrease the grain.. theres a way i can do that? and also, is it possible to use the overlays in the edit page and change in the composite mode?
Do you have some recommandation to make an old style effect for the audio of the video ? Like noisy sound on our voice, like the movies from 1960 and before
