Adjacent to the Ark, the two-story themed Emzara’s Kitchen is an award-winning buffet-style restaurant with a variety of delicious entrees, salads, and desserts (including food-allergy sensitive options). There’s even a special kid-friendly buffet!. The restaurant has a 1500-person seating capacity. You can get salads, soups, hot entrees with a variety of proteins and vegetables and many desserts. Currently, the lunch buffet is served from 10:30 a.m. until 1 p.m., and dinner runs from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. On Sundays, the lunch buffet is available from noon until 5 p.m.

I just got back from the Ark encounter and was so glad to have eaten at Emzara's. Everything was so delicious. My friend and I said that the tomato soup was probably the best we had ever eaten. The salad, vegetables, and especially the entree all delicious. It also comes with a desert bar and drink. All for $16.99 All you can eat. The inside was spacious, well decorated. Plus all the employees were exceedingly nice.

I have been there for Christmas of 2016. I could see how awesome the place have become. I remember paying 10.99 for the buffet though! $6 in 8 years beats inflation! I still remember the amazing fried chicken I had that time! May be I will go next year again

@@jennosyde709 Yeah, they usually do that so the customers can season the food how they like by using the salt and pepper on the table.

@@jennosyde709 🤣😊Sorry. Let me reclarify. They do put seasonings on the food, but they don't want to over season it for some people. They do use different spices though. However, the thing that I think they put too much salt on is the baked fish. It's really overpowering. For the more liquid stuff, like soup or gravy on their roast beef and vegetables, they do use other things like a bit of Worchester sauce. Sometimes they use butter (for the baked fish). They also use parsley for some of their vegetables. What's really interesting is how they make their fried chicken. You know that crunchy outside? They make their own breading for that stuff. It looks pretty cool when they do it. Have you seen those videos or pictures of people making sand art with different colored sand? It kind of reminds me of that. They do use some salt and pepper, but then they also add stuff like paprika, onion powder, garlic, red pepper, etc. Sometimes they experiment with different spices and how much spice is used. They do use salt and pepper for a lot of their dishes. They put that stuff in their honey carrots 🤢. I don't know if that's a southern thing or what 😆. I normally just have honey carrots as they are. What I have seen them do is use a type of salt for their fries that does not look like normal salt. It looks orange. Its kind of like how they use pink Himalayan salt, but except its orange. Don't know what mountains that salt is from, though😆. What I've seen them do was make special orders for people with different allergies. Though it might take longer depending on what dish they want, it usually gets done pretty quickly. The managers are the ones that usually gets it done because they don't want any seasonal employees to accidentally cross contaminate it. It's usually for guests (they call Ark Encounter visitors, guests) that have really sensitive allergies. From what I've seen, they will usually give guests little cups of olive oil, balsamic vinegar, or a mixture of both whenever a guest asks for it. It would be probable that you could get a small cup of a certain spice when you ask them. Some of the employees usually love special requests, as it makes their day just a bit more interesting (Although that might not always be the case, especially if it's a really busy day and they look stressed out.)
