Team Spirit also gave away Tiny + Lycan. That strat was LGD bread and butter, it carried them through a lot of matches, yet Team Spirit managed to play around it perfectly.
@@lebronjamesharden3958 nobody is too arrogant in that game psg lgd just get outplayed. The only way to win against lycan-tiny combo is not giving them a fight and wait for wolf bite to finish and team spirit had done it perfectly. They map awareness is amazing.
@@lautyx18 xiao8 got a little too emotional. They stomped the magnus and their high tempo play on games 3 and 4. They figured them out. They let magnus out without the 2 heroes that fucked it up (rubick and undying) and chose to pick lycan and tiny. As they say, dont fix whats not broken.
@@haviarizki972 ikr?! Why do they keep saying OG was an underdog during TI8 bro they are winning majors before TI8. While Team Spirit, a qualifier, no major win, came from 2nd round of lower bracket. OG walked group stage and upper bracket all the way.
Во время второй игры игрок TEAM SPIRIT Магомед «Collapse» Халилов зашел в кабинку к команде PSG.LGD, начал поднимать китайских игроков на руки и выносить их из игровой кабинки, аргументировав это тем что он магнус.
@@nineinchtoyo it’s less about reads but more about insane warding… LGD kept breaking the smokes with their creeps from y and faith bian without putting Kunkka in front
@@10klikeanonimbalikwxc14 cause their are better things in life than dota and with that prize pool they can achieve those goals plus dota at this level is draining.
I was literally rooting for Team Spirit when the Chinese squads started to dominate the group stage. I thought they are the only hope. And I could not believe TS had done the impossible, stomping big teams in the playoff despite having fallen into the lower bracket. However, the beauty of seeing them trouncing off those big teams on the LB was so sweet, and it even sweeter when they defeated the mighty LGD here on the finals. Congratulations TS. Im a fan.
The amazing game from such a young team could make anyone interested. It's fun to see people on Facebook calling it a bandwagon to root for TS before the grand finals started haha. But honestly, TS deserves all the hype. GG for everyone!
no they didnt the best of all teams were navi at TI1 where they literally BROKE whole meta with their picks most heroes they picked had NEVER been picked before at pro scene - but it changed after navi performance artstyle was a genius
@@ArtemKo___ what's the point? navi changed meta? when so many heroes from original dota have not been ported yet? as i said, ti1 was a joke and navi never win a real ti
I started to be a TS supporter when they did the naruto run at the animajor. When I filled out my predictions for TI I prayed they would get far, but I never expected them to actually win this thing I am just happy for those chads to win this just for the naruto run alone
I watched this live, that freaking backdoor protection almost made me punch a wall. Anyway, Glad that Team Spirit was not fazed from that horrible game 4. GGs
I thought after that, the Rosh fight was going to go south and psg.lgd was going to come back and take it. I was on the edge of my seat for the rest of the match!
@@muratsarsenov2008 Their run in ti is very similar. Underdog team, fighting through lower brackets, no one expected them to go far in the ti and the final fighting against the favourite. The only thing difference is team spirit get to lift the aegis.
@@ezwan7656 I don't k ow if you remember it correctly, but DC wasn't the underdog. Noone even looked at this team at all. As for Spirit people were looking around wondering what's the potential of this team. They were the true underdog from the very beginning. I know playoffs path looks similar, same with Liquid ti7, but the storyline itself is very different. I get more of OG/Wings vibes this time
@@muratsarsenov2008 the way you describe dc is literally the meaning of underdog. Lol. Spirit doesnt have og vibes because og is a big organisation with few majors under their belt already when they enter ti. Also in Ti8 og literally cruising through the upper brackets until they meet psg lgd, the new roster of og really caught people by surprise but they are no means an underdog in ti8. Team spirit does not carry og vibes but dc vibes this ti. But of course different people have different opinion.
It's been a long time since we had so an exciting grand final! Glad I took the time to watch it and didn't get disappointed by another 3 0 "grand" final. Congrats TS!
27:31 it was not Yatoro feeling, he saw ench taking the neutral creep because of the triangle ward, that's why he reacts so fast. It's a good awareness of the map, but not "feeling".
Man I thought they really messed up by allowing tiny lycan in. What an amazing run. pretty sure I'm going to have nightmares about Collapse skewering me out of nowhere. Yatoro was godlike in the whole tournament too and really showed a deep hero pool. These guys ran to the ancient in so many games too! So aggressive.
torontotokyo was godlike with his remnants in every game he played with ember constantly dodging a gank or accelerating his farm not to mention when a bought back and he already had a remnant to join the fight immediately
No one expected this to happen before the start of the this tournament but after they beat vp iand secret in the lower bracket I already think they have a higher chance to become ti10 champions.
Spirit truly deserved the TI. They crawled they way up from the lower bracket and even playing the grandfinals with so much fire despite the tiredness they must have felt after Secret. LGD is a great team but they were not prepared for this. Spirit dismantled that Tiny Lycan combo. Im not a great dota 2 player but ai was like, why give Spirit all the Magnus pick if they had watched so many fights. They should have respect ban it.
Giving them their hero was not a problem. But Xiao8 became cocky and greedy and picked all the 3 cores first and got countered. Look how well Spirit addressed this in their game-winning last 2 picks Ember and TB. TB for late game and counter tiny while Ember to continue the tempo of the game. Even LGD's Supports were pretty useless. Ench and Sky, no clear strats and that Lycan just to buff Tiny. No clear disable except for NTS's Kunkka (Who should be playing on a backline catching hero like ember but stapled on this shit). Spirit had an insane spell casting with the likes of RP, Skewer, Fiends grip, nightmare, Winter's curse, etc. Bane is a very underrated hero. I respect both teams but I expected LGD not to be this cocky and lackluster in game 5 of the grand finals. But that is just how life moves forwards. I hope Secret or LGD wins next year's TeaEye. Spirit had enough of the show. (I'm a huge secret fan btw ).
CIS Dota still alive! Thank you guys! I’m really crying. It’s our history! Amazing comeback to tournament Dota and aegis come home 10 years later after Navi win first TI. Wow!
@@peterwang5272 Stop being mad. It was LGD's fault for not banned Magnus or picked Rubick, LGD slipped themself away when they had a chance to win TI. They were too arrogant that they thought they could beat Magnus like in game 3 but they were wrong, deserved to lose.
Silent may be not very confident at the short interview, since they were crushed in G4. But they did recover well in game 5 and fight back against early aggressive draft.
What surprises me the most is that Insania was surprised by the fact that Kunkka was winning mid. Dude, it's Kunkka against Ember, what else did you expect?
I lowkey want Ame to win and see him succeed; he's the only humble member of the old LGD roster with fy. Even if you watch true sight he never bad mouthed OG. Also its a redemption of some sort as he was heavily scrutinized for that TI8 loss by the Chinese dota community. Anyways, congrats TS, from Eastern EU Qualifiers to TI10 Champions. GGEZ indeed!
Honestly I want him/psg.lgd to win it and I want Fly to get one too. Maybe he didn't handle the exit of OG right, but both parties were better for it. Both guys have worked very hard for it.
Humble? That guy also trashtalks team mates in pubs on mic. Just like quin, the only difference is he speaks Chinese so no one can understand and report him, while quin has the balls to say it right on your face....
@@mr.t5785 Nah dude Quinn's straight up toxic, there has been instances where Ame talks during pubs and get frustrated like we all do, but I highly doubt he's toxic. As I've said TI8 True Sight; was there an instance where he said something bad against OG?
13:03 What did you expect him to say, on the final game of the biggest tournament in DOTA? “Yeah, we gonna triple team the tiny bot then rotate to harass lycan then push high ground before the 20-minute mark. Yeah, that’s our full strat right there, boys” 😂🤷♂️
I think ldg didn’t ban magnus in game 5 since they know what they can expect from collapse’s magnus. I wouldn’t want to deal with an unknown at the most important game. Especially after dealing with magnus for 4 games, lgd are in the rhythm to deal with magnus.
If u watch the video.. before the start ceb and notail said they saw a whole in lgd draft that it would be hard for them.. its true that tiny and lycan are op duo but should be draft with supports that will compliment them..stupid
Sometimes, it is just like that. You played what you think will work, being in the zone, and delivering. Even Ana himself can't see his own hero in TI8.
No, he pinged centaur that was dominated by enchantress that was under vision. Later on you can see observers pointing it out, but caster haven't noticed that.

What are the names of the ladies which were commented at the very end I felt in Love with the one which said a word about Cinderella story. She was so natural and at the same time got very gist of the moment, instead of saying pre defined speech. It was exceptionally tremendous.N.B. TS did amazing job, she described it and the impression much better than I can.
Not really. MK and Undying were smarter bans since TS could take on the predictible timings of Lycan + Tiny. Undying would end ruining Collapse matchup. MK is flex pick.
ppl keep saying that not banning Mag is the problem but I rlly don't think so. They banned Mars and Willow in order for their Tiny Lycan combo to not get countered, and they managed to get it in the first phase; even Ceb and N0tail agrees that PSG LGD getting the Tiny Lycan is better than TS getting the Mag Bane. For me, the next bans of LGD are their most crucial mistake because of how they focused all 5 of their remaining bans towards Yatoro who has a really large hero pool, imo they should've banned the Wyvern at least before banning the Ursa and Naga since it would really be hard to fight against a Wyvern-Bane-Mag esp with a tiny-lycan pick; besides Miposhka's been really good at playing WW in the tournament, so I don't quite understand what was going with the second phase bans of LGD. Also, why Kunkka ;-; and third pick Kunkka at that too. Lastly, the Sky Ench won't do shit against the enemy team mid to late game, the least they could do is to win and snowball the lanes, but that is if you're a Puppey ench otherwise it would be really hard. Yes, they managed to somehow win the lanes, but it wasn't a snowball, you're doomed to lose the late game with that kind of draft if you can't snowball early. Idk that's my take on this.
