[EN] Victorinox - REAL OR FAKE? (Swiss Army Knives) 

Happy Sunday Guillaume, I have not ever bought a fake Swiss Army knife as I buy mine mostly from my local Victorinox dealer, a few from certain select European or US websites, occasionally on Amazon & both new & 2nd hand from reputable eBay sellers after I have checked their Feedback history. There are quite a few SAK Clones / lookalikes on eBay & even on Amazon but I am not tempted to buy any from places like China or Pakistan. What I have bought from Chinese eBay sellers are the copies of the SwissQlip for SAK's - they are as good as or even better made than the original SwissQlip which is BTW made in China

It sometimes pays for you to to obscure corner shops that not many people shop at that sell Swiss army knives as you can get them cheaper that way for example on average in the UK a Swiss army champ cost around £70.00 to £75.00 depending on where you get it but a few miles away from where I live is an obscure corner shop that sells a bit of everything but not many shop at so their sales price for Swiss army knifes is below the average price and cost around £60.00 because he got his stock a few years ago

I bought a ranger online, the gray box has a label, and it says "Made in CH". What does CH mean? Is it normal for some not to include an instruction paper inside? My Swiss champ didn't come with any but the ranger did.

Yep, my specimen is a bootleg. Thanks, I'm a computer programmer, so the half decent build quality partially fooled me.
