I've been thinking about this all morning, it's really cool!

I love how Moony notices she is the gift and it ends with their both smiling. Moony seems so happy because of being the gift and Ena seems happy because she made Moony happy. She went throught a lot and had a happy deserved ending.

I feel like I'm watching a car crash. This is so weird, scary, confusing, and uncanny, but I can't stop watching it.

What Ena communicates to me is that post-modernism doesn't need to be snarky or deconstructionist and can in the end even be somewhat heartwarming.

“Drunk” ENA is surprisingly rare in this series compared to Sad/Meltdown ENA. I hope we get to see more of that side of her in the future. I find their personality very interesting.

Fun fact: someone made this video into a VR chat world.

It occurs to me that ENA almost never talks like a normal human, if you step back and actually examine her words; between the obtuse phrasing and arbitrary tonal shifts, she would almost certainly fail a Turing Test. It’s disguised by some confident delivery by the VAs, leading to a wonderful uncanniness where the lines actually seem “off” on paper but sound mostly fine in practice outside of the more obvious glitches.

There's something really funny about how not only is Merci mistranslated; but her subtitles have french words thrown in. Like, she's not only misunderstanding her; she's completely misinterpreting her entire personality.

So logically… Ena is the type of friend who would spam you at 3 am in the morning, and when you finally give in and reply, she’ll say loving and motivational messages.

To me, Merci's and Robert's animations always seemed like they don't fit what they're saying... But then I found out that the subtitles are wrong and they're saying something completely different - which fits their animations way more entirely

this is so good i cannot put it into words i just need to see more the entire thing so far is so amazing the character designs and retro game / old internet aesthetic are so creatively pleasing and pulled so perfectly together i love ena so much

I like how Moony isnt inherently mean to ENA. Like sure she is rude but where it counts she is adorably compassionate to them. So many shows just make the rude friend a bitch but this is a nice and a bit more realistic pace
