Are you sure that you're on MIUI? And in the restricted settings windows you have to press ok for it to work

@@axtrplayer I'm on a Mi 11 with MIUI14 with August 2023 android patch. No 3-dots, and no "allow restricted settings" option anywhere. Can't allow notification for third party app.

@@alaind9393 Have you tried clicking OK when the window appeared? If you tried several times and it hadn't worked, then I may make a temporary one-size-fits-all bypass option soon. This method isn't recommended since re-disabling the app's accessibility/notification permission and you will ended up like this from the beginning, and app reinstallation will be required for it to work. Never seen anyone doing this on the internet, stay tuned.

@@alaind9393 And also, this solution should work for ALL DEVICES (even with TECNO, Inifix devices that people complain every now and then), but the demo will be on an AOSP custom ROM. I no longer use MIUI 14.

No 3 dot menu and no switch at bottom? Try to find "Allow restricted setting" in the app information screen, if unavailable then I have a way, but I no longer own an Android 13 device, guide not coming soon

At app info menu there should be a 3-dot menu to enable. In miui it was replaced with the "i" which i demonstrated

I knew the guide was needed when there was no results when I search for it, I figured this out myself

unlock bootloader and switch rom, meaning wipe all your data. there's no other way with miui 14

Is there a three dot button on the top right corner of the app info page? If yes then there will be an option there, if no then I have no idea, I don’t have a tecno phone

August/September security patch? Some has reported not working, potential workaround coming out when I have time. May or may not work since I no longer use MIUI, this targets as many android devices as possible.

it should be there, if not then try to get the restricted setting to pop up one more time and try again. mi11x runs miui 14 global so it should be there
