Does not work on my 2007, but does work on our other 2007. The car it worked on has automatic climate control and a factory 6 cd player. That is the only difference between them. If you notice the person who posted the video has a 6 cd player stereo.
I’m curious do you think this is a 6 cd player due to the 6 numbers to the left?? If so, um, I’m sorry to tell you but those numbers , 1 thru 6, have nothing to do with the CD player. Those are radio station setting buttons, so that you can save your favorite stations. You find a station you like, then you hold down # 1 , for example, until you hear it beep, then it’s set. You never have to search for that station again. Then you move on to the next, untill you have saved a total of 6 set stations. I thought everyone knew that!!!
@@VodouDoll4U Oh boy.....it has nothing to do with that and BTW those are called radio presets. Some versions of the Mazda 3 and all versions of the Mazdaspeed can load 6 compact discs and shuffle between them in the stock stereo. My car only takes one CD at a time.
Doesn’t work on all cars, I have an Australian 2005 BK SP23 (2.3 sport I think in other markets), with the 6 stack CD player and climate control and it doesn’t work. Using Mode and Mute buttons on the steering wheel doesn’t work either.
Well mines 2008 and looks identical to yours button wise, it's 9utbof the car atm but it's getting connected again to try lol as I have a pac module that works with the display but it doesn't have this feature obviously well it does describe it but must have to be on to cycle the info but long as I get dis on I'm golden do you know the model number of that unit by any chance mate? It's encouraging either way 😊 👌
Tom Evans It adds the mpg info (Miles left, average mpg, current mpg, etc.) the only problem is it’s off as it’s configured for the 2.5 engine not the 2.0 engine. So when it says you have 12 miles left on the tank you actually have more as the 2.0 is more fuel efficient than the 2.5.
