Enable Enhanced Session for Pop!_OS or Ubuntu 20.04+ | Hyper-V Guide 

I got the popup and rebooted and then got nothing. Did the powershell command and ran it again, rebooting each time. Final time it says it is working, but it isn't. Any ideas? I am on windows 10.

Unfortunately, there is still no popup. In the VM's file menu, the enhanced session option is greyed our also. Any ideas?

xrdp login screen doesn't go away when shut down?

it finally worked for me thanks, but the desktop does not look the same as with normal ubuntu, its missing my "start menu", but when i press the windows key it shows my terminal and firefox which is all i need.

Can you please tell us how your windows11 taskbar is so small?

my ubuntu doesnt have the option "open in terminal". Ubuntu is such a fucking shit show. wow.

I got the popup now, but when Hyper-v connects,, it always goes to the green login screen, and when I log in with that the screen is just black. Thinking something must have changed.

i had to drag and drop the script into the terminal, there was absolutely no other way of opening the fucking thing. wow. i just dont get why using ubuntu is so different for each user.
