What I love most about this track are the little arp blips that happen every now and then 1:09. It's the little effects that bring so many emotions out of a few simple notes. Excellent job Enamour. Looking forward to hearing a lot more from you.
This has that constant synth pad drone to it carries you progressively and faithfully to the breakdown where rays of sun start to peak through the clouds before taking off again full speed. I like the journey here and that this song didn't try and do too much or assault the senses. It is perfect for someone who wants to mix and build as part of a bigger overall trip.
What's wild to me is his buildup sounds like a full fledged chorus and the drop itself collapses into a fraction of the melody. Like a drop in reverse. Really freakin cool arrangement
HOLY SHIT. im glad im not the only one. its the only reason i keep wanting to watch the set again. aside from the fact they did it on a fucking junk boat. wish i was there
You should check out Enamour's set of tutorials on Sonic Academy, in which he builds something fairly close to Ruby in Ableton Live, starting from scratch. Amazing to watch and full of useful tricks!
