Hi, Can you please let me know if the ethernet controller saves the IP assigned to it when powered down? I need to use multiple modules in my network and want to make sure I don't have to re-assign IP address to these modules every time power is cut. Thanks
Hi, have you tried changing the default IP address? I'm curious to know if it reverts back to default after the unit is power cycled. I bought two and they both go back to default, making them useless for me.

I recommend him to do a hard reset and try to connect to the network only three devices - the controller itself, a computer with pi 192.168.4.100 and a switch.
Wire the controller directly to your pc, then go to your pc and write in the network settings under TCP/ipv4 192.168.1.1 and 255.255.255.0 Press save and then wait one minute and you should reach with your browser the network modul under 192.168.1.4/30000. There you can change the ipadresse . But this change is working until you take of the current. then it resets. You have to use the same first three numbers, as your Pc has in the network. Example your Pc has 192.168.100.10 you can change the ip from the network module to 192.168.100.4
