Dolores likes to subtly hint at Bruno's existence in the house instead of outright saying it considering the whole "We Don't Talk About Bruno" thing. Like saying that the rats in the walls are worried about the magic too, plus her first verse in the song about Bruno.
@@ryla8195 they wanted to give her an alternative love interest called Bubo but they realised forcing a relationship on her was really reductive since her character arc was about self discovery and growth etc.
Funny story. My friend named her new dog Bruno. No she’s never seen the movie, and hadn’t heard of it when she named him. Long story short, the dog now has a Pavlovian response to a poorly sung rendition of We Don’t Talk About Bruno.

There's colonist, murderers, butterflies, do kid, Musicians more rats and some sand! The cast of this film is too big but it sells little plushies and toys on demand!!"
With Isabela's arc I prefer to that she didn't lose all the snark it just became more of a playful snark rather than actually hurtful snark because I generally like meaner characters
"Just as basic as me" Yeah I felt Mirabel was shunted to the side in her damn story and the family wasn't that special. And if they done a TV spinoff, Isabella needs to see that her mean girl behavior made her untrustworthy
The style of the characters is gorgeous!😍 You are gorgeous!😍 and, side rant, Bruno ran away to protect Mirabel, he didn't want anyone to ask him about that vision but he stayed close because he loved his family, if Dolores had told the family he would have had to run away further and leave his family, Dolores could hear that he loved his family and that he wanted to hide from them so she didn't tell so he could stay.

Congrats!!! It's absolutely deserved! But the way you opened the box had me screaming.. 😂 Edit: I personally loved this movie. At some point, there was a scene for every Madrigal where it felt like I was repeating a scene in my own life. Due to some majorly unfortunate circumstances, I dealt with my own trauma and the following issues. I've been literally every Madrigal at some point during my life and it fucking sucked. Though I will agree this movie was not long enough to cover some of the major issues (like the real issues between Isabella and Mirabel and we could have had a song from Camilo and Delores???) but I try to remember that the meat of the movie takes place within 48 hours. Like.... That's 2 days for Mirabel to realize how broken her family is and honestly try to fix it so... Le shrug.

Okay but the thing with Isabella is that Abuela wants her life to be what hers wasn't. Isabella legitimately looks JUST LIKE Abuela did as a teenager, and Mariano looks like Abuelo Pedro. This isn't an accident. Abuela forces Isabella to be perfect because she had the "perfect life" stolen from her so she wants Isa to get what she thinks she didn't.
