This encaustic stylus tool is fast becoming my go to tool for fixing mistakes and adding small details to my paintings. I love that I can do all this without having to fuse and risk messing up all of my work.

This piece reminds me of the agar culture plates we used in the lab! I love your persistance to keep at it even when there are hiccups in the journey. ♥

It's tough sometimes! But I've learned there's nearly always a chance to turn things around.

Yes it would be interesting if you could cover the stylus and how it works. Maybe a tutorial. I have a wood burning tool I have used with encaustic, but I'm not sure it's the same tool you are using. Also, I like the circle idea you came up with. Somehow is shows off the colors in the middle of the circle in a more interesting way...even though I really found the original painting interestig as well. The magic of encaustic.😊

I have a wood burning tool as well, but I haven't used it in my paintings yet. I need to though! The stylus is giving me more confidence!

@@thefarpavilion I was a little afraid of the wood burning tool at first. I use it to mark my panel, the actual wood, then encaustic paint over that. I haven't tried it with the wax paint at all. You have inspired me to experiment. 🙂

@@TerriKash-NEO start as low as it will go. Then you can always turn it up. But I bet the lowest setting will be the best.
