Everyone, I know y'all are upset about not him crediting taylor swift in his covers in youtube. However, I want to talk about his spotify. Songs that are released on spotify whether it is a cover or not are released as singles. He distributed his cover through distrokid (a music distribution website/company). Distrokid releases covers as singles. In fact, most distribution companies release covers as singles. So, he can't control how it should be credited to Taylor Swift. However, if we see his cover "Crazier", in the song credits you can see "written by Taylor Swift." So, the cover was credited to her. I'm not trying to defend him but I think we should know how music distribution works before getting mad at him in something that he cannot control (in the spotify part at least).
