This home is magical... tucked away in the forest, but you can walk to the lake, restaurants, and shops. Not to mention, the large town of Sora is less than 15 minutes away, with even more amenities and services. When you first rolled up to the property I wasn’t sure but this was really special. Idk where it’s situated on a map & maybe it was just the decor but it had a bit of a French feel underneath. Even the town showed signs of things we Americans wouldn’t think of as typically Italian. My late father had properties at the beach and the Adirondacks. He would have LOVED this. Thanks for a great tour & reminding me of my dad ❤

Loved both of these properties! The first house is totally gorgeous, but Bonzai says no to scala a chiocciola! Loved the tiles on the 2nd home! And this area was completely new to me and I love how you guys find these amazing places!

@@wanderingwithwine we are on the long flight home now. We didn’t look at any homes specifically, but were looking to narrow the list of potential places down to something manageable. In short, we loved Lombardy. That where my roots are. Beautiful county. Chievenna was so nice. Of course, Tuscany was beautiful, but expensive and I hate to say it, but Tuscany was the only place we encounter anyone who was less than super friendly and helpful. Might have just been a fluke, but it felt different there. Piedmont was gorgeous too. We stayed at an Airbnb/vineyard and small winery in this hills and the weather was amazing. However our host told us it got up to 42 degrees Celsius last summer (107 F). Thats way too hot for me! I think anywhere close to the Alps would work for us.

This is a neat place - I really like the kitchen and living/dining room areas - very homey. The layout for the rest is a bit funky, as it can be in Italian houses. I wish we had a floor plan to go along with this one, that would help me follow along a bit better. I didn’t see you mention where that closed up doorway would go to … you said you’d come back to that in a minute, but maybe I missed it? Love the master suite. And the views!! They are amazing!

Hi Meredith👋🏼 We think this is a really special property - it’s got a romance about it. Not sure we would’ve featured this one without the video tour because there isn’t a floor plan. We love a floor plan, it helps us too, but it’s not always available🥺 A quick summary… you go from the living area (the stone wall room next to the kitchen) up the spiral staircase into the “office” with the loft, then down the hallway to the full bathroom, and after that is the primary bedroom. Leaving the primary through that little storage area is the other spiral staircase room with the skylight - so it’s really like three levels because that space is above the primary. The other area outside is the terrace off the primary and the door leads to the laundry/storage/half bathroom. Hope that helps! Thanks for joining us and hope you’re having a lovely weekend ❤️✨

Love your videos and your “taste” in wine and decor! I had a chuckle on your pronunciation of dove abiti. Now, to be clear, my pronunciation can be way off at times, but consider a quick google translate search and listen to their pronunciation and it’s usually pretty close to what it should sound like - just a tip 😂 🍷 🍷 🍷 thanks for lightening my day!

Happy to have you here 😊 Uh oh… We use Babbel and it has an audio feature where they pronounce it for you and then you repeat😱 Just typed it into Google Translate and compared to Babbel, they do sound different, uh oh, lol. We don’t say it fast enough, but hopefully we will get better and better (hopefully) 😬

@@estelladog1 we usually run it colder just before we film but we didn’t 😅 We film for a couple of hours and by the end it’s nice and toasty. We started this last November and it wasn’t hot outside. It has been extremely hot here though so we are going to have to figure something out… or you guys will see us burst into flames in a future video😂

First off, I blame you for my obsession over this house, lol. But seriously, I showed it to my husband and now he’s obsessed as well -he keeps going on and on about taking a bath in that tub and then jumping into bed! 😂 I did reach out to the realtor, Kylie, and she did reply once with some info. She stated that she was going to send me a video with more information, but she never did. I’ve reached out to her now seven more times. I even reached out to the actual realtors. But no one has gotten back to me. I was just wondering, do you have another way I can get in touch with them? I’ve tried other searches, checking to see if the property perhaps is no longer available, and that’s why the realtors haven’t reached back out to me. Anywho, if you have any tips on how I can get in touch with someone in regards to this property, it would be greatly appreciated. My husband, Cris, will be going to Italy early next year, and this is one stop he wants to make in our quest to find a home in Italy. Thanks again for always putting on great shows, and making it increasingly harder and harder for us to pin down exactly where we want to live in Italy! Salute 🍷😘

Please tell us which airport you're referring to when you talk about the closest one. I've been to Zurich & it IS beautiful!!!!!! LOVE the kitchen. It's SO my style!!!! Like you, Jamie, I'm not fond of the spiral staircases, primarily because I have 2 little pups like yours.

How much are electric bills in South Italy I heard they are pretty big if you end up running your AC?

Hi Kenny 👋🏼 We have heard the same about electricity and utilities can run $125-$175 per month, around the highest in Europe. Some depends on the region and the person. We’d have the AC running but then our moms wouldn’t run it at all because they are always freezing😆 We featured a home in Pomarance last month and it was all geothermal energy, which is more cost effective. Then in some other regions it can be pricey. Definitely something for folks to consider in their budget. Hope this helps!! Thanks for popping in to visit with us ✨🇮🇹

Not one mention of the table in the kitchen area with a Vespa Scooter as its base! Were yall a little tipsy doing this vid? Tea many martoonis? I know yall are not in Italy making actual vids of properties, but would it kill you to show the next door properties? I know the idea is to not have people showing up at the property possibly bothering the occupants or neighbors, whatever. Was this house a one unit building?

Hi Kelly 👋🏼 Not sure how many of our videos you’ve had a chance to watch but when the address is not private we wander to the property and show an aerial view. When the address is not provided, we are going to respect the owner’s privacy. This home looks semi-detached but the agent is awesome and can provide you with any details you need. We always include the listing links in our descriptions, no secrecy here😉 Love that table!!
