THANK YOU!! I am originally from Halifax and currently live about 3000KM away for the past 18 years. Although I had a bit of homesickness, seeing the familiar sites, calling up memories of me and my sisters running around Citadel Hill, and seeing Peggy's Cove again ( I grew up about 20 minutes away) brought on more smiles than tears. This was fantastic and thank you for being so respectful and appreciative of my hometown.
Was looking forward to this video as I am from Nova Scotia. So many people have gone on the dark rocks of Peggy’s Cove and have been swept out to see even with all the signage thanks for pointing it out . Nova Scotia is so beautiful I love it here . Glad you enjoyed your visit 😁
I really enjoyed this "preview" of Halifax. I am sailing Oct 20 on the Caribbean Princess and Halifax is one of our stops. I booked a ship excursion to Peggy's Cove and then the Hop On/Off bus.
Malone Bay is so much more picturesque than Peggy’s Cove and it is on the way to Lunenburg…a must see when visiting Halifax transportation and time permitting.

Awwww, fellow cruise travel vloggers here…we live in Halifax and could have been your tour guides! Looks like you had a fun day exploring our beautiful city and beyond. So sad to live in a port city that we can’t actually board a cruiseship in. If only we could, we’d cruise ALL the time! 😂 As far as Peggy’s Cove and all the warnings, unfortunately those who don’t live near the ocean often aren’t aware of the sheer power and unpredictability of the ocean and many a poor souls have been swept out to sea. Never go down on the black rocks, that is where rogue waves can come out of nowhere and you don’t stand a chance. The wooden area platforms above were actually only recently built as a deterrent to keep people up off the rocks. Unfortunately lots of people still don’t heed the warnings even though they are posted everywhere.

Lol I bought 12 bags of ketchup chips those are my favorite. Love them only the Canadian brands are great! Lays, old Dutch brand, or the original Humpty Dumpty. Lol my wife thought I was crazy for buying all those chips until she had some! Chips🇨🇦

We booked a cruise from Quebec City to Boston yesterday. We sail this October and it will be our first cruise with NCL (Pearl). We'll check out the Maritimes and what NCL is like.
That bed on the radiance must’ve been really hard if you said that the bed in that jail cell seemed more comfortable ha ha I’ve never seen raspberry Coca-Cola before I doubt they sell it in Florida but I’m gonna look for it how are those store brand chips?
Loving the videos. Your videos have helped us during these difficult times. Hoping we can make our 9/17 cruise. Our 15yr old granddaughter had very serious emergency brain surgery, which was a success. She is in rehab and we don't know if she will be done before the cruise. We are helping with the care of our other two granddaughters. Nonetheless, our granddaughter is first. Thanks again!
