You can't cast Wheel there.. his opponent Mulliganed, cast a dark ritual, and missed a land drop. Brain geyser for 2 was the play 100%. Oh well! Thanks for the posts!!
Mind Twist seems to me as one of the best "bang for the buck" cards as far as its price vs how disruptive it is to the opponent. You can get a revised LP Mind Twist for about $5, and considering it's worthy of a ban along side LoL, that seems pretty nuts.
I could never get my enchantress decks to work. Probably because I own zero Sylvan libraries. Just picked one up today thanks to this video! I'll buy another later and see if I can't get my deck working. 👍🏻
Along with giving haste to the BOP in the first match, Enchantress player seems to be making a lot of “misplays.” Also find it funny how he places the COP right above the Gloom.
Good lord, I've watched most of the videos from this series, and this enchantress player has committed serious rules infractions every video. I get that this is OS and so people are way more relaxed but this guy needs a babysitter. It wouldn't be so bad if he didn't also demonstrate that he understands how his cards work in other instances making it look pretty malicious. Last video he "lets" his opponent take back a CoP: red play because gloom in play makes its activation more. This video he forgets. Other videos he plays extra lands without taking damage from fastbond. Taps his summoning sick creatures, puts cards from sylvan library into his hand and then back on top in such a way that he could have easily switched them. Some of his motions are so fast that its hard to track. Mana weaving between games. He often waits to see his opponent's responses before deciding how to pay costs for cards. I would not feel comfortable playing vs him without someone else watching too.
I love your videos and what you do for OS and other eternal formats so I appreciate the reply. I don't want to delve too deep into psychology, but there have been a large number of people determined to be cheating on camera when the common thought was "there's no way they would, it's on camera". I don't know peter or his motivations, but what i have seen done by him in this video series is a pattern of making mistakes that benefit him which he misses while he notices similar, if not the exact same, mistakes made by his opponent's. He clearly demonstrates awareness, making it appear to me much more likely that when he commits sloppy play he is choosing to ignore correcting it if he notices it himself without his opponent speaking up. It's not necessarily playing with the intent to cheat, but noticing a mistake and strategically not saying anything is only a minor difference. I've met several people in my life who others would swear would never cheat, only for that person to come out later and admit they knowingly withheld information from their opponent, much to their defenders' surprise. I obviously can't say for sure because I can't be inside his head, but when you combine all of the evidence over the videos it appears that there is more here than just sloppy play. Likely he is just not speaking up when he notices his mistakes because hes playing wayyyyy too fast. Also, mana weaving between games is specifically against game rules because it makes your deck verifiably not random, and is against even the spirit of the game in a friendly competition.
