Enchong Dee at KaladKaren nahirapan sa kanilang gender-swapping roles sa pelikula 

Enchong Dee is the man of the hour at his surprise career changing role of a man turned transgender woman in the hilarious MMFF summer movie “Here Comes the Groom”. He particularly praised co-star KaladKaren for supporting his layered portrayal “I love you!,” Dee told KaladKaren thrice at their media conference after the rousing reception or the screening of their movie at Megamall Cinemas, Mandaluyong.
“I will always be grateful to KaladKaren for being generous to me as an actor, siya din ang kalahati ng movie,” said Dee who portrays the titular role of the groom possessed by pageant contesera character of KaladKaren.
“Nagpapasalamat din ako ng buong puso kay Enchong for helping me act like a man! Bawat eksena tinatanong ko din siya how to deliver yung mga linya,” KaladKaren said.
“Here Comes the Groom” is a take off from the souls swapping tale of “Here Comes the Bride” (2010) starring Angelica Panganiban, Eugene Domingo, John Lapus, among others. The comedy begins when Dee’s family members figure in a collision with KaladKaren’s group of conteseras in a magnetic field during a solar eclipse.
Miles Ocampo, Maris Racal, Keempee de Leon, Gladys Reyes, Tony Labrusca, Awra Briguela, Iyah Mina and others also shine in the movie by Chris Martinez which opens on April 8 with other MMFF summer entries.
