The reason why the Enclave acts that they’re seeing the creatures for the 1st time is because most of their previous data in the west was most likely destroyed either from the NCR & BoS who wanted the data, or from the nuking of the Oil Rig (most likely both), forcing them to start from scratch. And yes, the 9 stars on the terminal is probably just a limitation issue.

I'd be interested to know if Autumn was planning on continuing the persecution of "genetic noncompliant" populations, or if that was something Eden was keen on. I maintain that Autumn's plan- to use the water purifier as a bargaining chip to establish the Enclave as a local authority figure- wouldn't really work if the Enclave just killed all the wastelanders afterwards. Autumn's Enclave wants to build an empire, and you can't build an empire without citizens. (Also, I'm not sure "hypocrite" is accurate re: them using Deathclaws as weapons. "Cleansing the America of mutants" and "using mutants to kill other mutants" aren't mutually exclusive, after all. Additionally, Deathclaws were ORIGINALLY a pre-war genetic engineering experiment that the Enclave experimented with extensively in the past, so they might get a partial pass as, I dunno, "reclaimed ordnance" or some such.)

The kid in Grayditch tells you that you should shoot them in the antennae. It indeed frenzies them.

Hey, Oxhorn, speaking of the Enclave, if you do another Mod Muster for Fallout 4, you should try the America Rises mod, it’s an incredible mod that even complies with the XO-3 and XO-2 mods for the Xbox/Nexus, which yes, the mods came first. And believe me, I’ve played through the quests 3 times and the Enclave faction made in Fallout 4 made me feel so good to take on new dungeons and restore the Enclave with new faces and General Ward, Corporal Fitzpatrick, Dr. Kane, and Sergeant Peterson, Who actually plays a prominent role within the game and becomes a companion. (Btw, if you thaw them out and don’t do the quests, they’re not considered Essential so you can also just kill them and take General Ward’s outfit and a couple others. If you do, enjoy the mod like I did.)

I always loved raiding those Enclave outposts.

You should do a mini series covering different unmarked locations that have little environmental stories, like the Grayditch sewers or the wasteland gypsy village.

Enclave: Use everything to our own advantage, no matter how ironic or immoral the way is. Also Enclave: Blast first, ask never.

I think the Enclave could help the wasteland a lot if they would work with the BoS and other factions to help humanity flourish in the wasteland

I love Enclave lore and never saw this one in your list till now, even though I've followed you for some time now. Interesting lore for sure! Yah I didn't understand the Deathclaw thing either but neat to see they were able to control a few of them. Wish 76 did more with the Enclave. Maybe in the future.

There's one on the bridge adjacent to that scrap town on the Highway thingy. It doesn't have much, but there is a terminal, which I remember reading then immediately forgetting what it said.

The Enclave will give the people of the wasteland a brighter future over the horizon through the sights of a plasma rifle.

This is interesting to note the amount of scientific correctness of Biological Classification done by Enclave Research Outpost. In today's world, all of the species noted exist and the evolutionary mutations showed are quite realistic. I would love to make a video on the evolutionary correctness in Fallout series.

I didn't see you find it. It's a little hard to find but you can find all the body's in a ditch off the road kinda hidden by bushes that were listed. When I found them it was sad and sickening.

I've encountered a member of the Enclave on the very first day in the Wasteland. I went to Super-Duper Mart for Moira and decided to head to Springvale. Lo and behold, I got shot by one of them where the outpost should be.

Mole Rats were actually mutated before the war. They are one of the many FEV projects that have escaped into the wastes. Amazing video Oxhorn. I love the Enclave in spite of their flaws, I feel with the right leadership they could do great things for the wasteland.

"But where did they find so many soldiers?". Well fallout 2 took place over 30 years ago, and we know that they do recruit wastelanders so long as they aren't mutants, plus Raven Rock and the several additional installations that the enclave occupy would give them plenty of room for population growth. So they are a mix of west coast veterans, possibly any remaining branches or outposts (vertibird refueling sites or bunkers like we see in whitesprings, raven rock may have even had it's own garrison), descendants of enclave personnel (they had some 30 years to replenish their ranks), and wastelander recruitment(They had a small basis of support among the wastelanders, so they likely recruited those who were pure humans.)

In my gameplay in the last Outpost covered the soldiers were still alive and that one that was dead in front of the container was burning some bodies. The radscorpion took care of those guys in this video

Although unconfirmed. Even as a kid. I always assumed that this Enclave chapter had come from a Vault of some sort. Maybe near a facility or under a facility that was remote. With a lot of the equipment they would need to “rebuild” America. I had expected it to be in The Commonwealth. That’s kind of one of the reasons it disappointed me that they had basically no relevance in Fallout 4.

Did anyone else realize that an Enclave Hellfire trooper yelled "My leg!" When Dogmeat bit him? Even though he's wearing _Power Armor?_

i do think theses outposts are for both securing land in the name of the enclave and scientific research or both its just my thought on this

As a palaeontologist who does a bunch of work on taxonomy, the pronunciation of those scientific names made me wince quite a few times haha

a note on the mongrels evolving from wolves, you have to take into account the fact that alot of dog breeds requirea huge ammount of care and some breed cant pyshically (gross!) reproduce with the other due to hight issues, most dog breeds will have died out by this point with only german shepards and there relatives survivng into the future its possible also that wolves dogs and purebreeds have cross mingled to the point of evolutionary change

Oxhorn the Fallout God didn't know giant ants can be frenzied?! That's actually crazy considering the antennae are the closest part of the ant to the player.

I had a thought. What if the different number of stars on the flag or no flag, all had a secret meaning. Like the nine star flag was defense. The 15 biology and the no flag r&d or something like that?

all the Enclave Encounters throughout the Wasteland make me wanna do all the sidequests BEFORE finding James, because the gloves are off once those horned stormtroopers march in, as Three Dog put it.

there's mod that gives map markers to non marked locations and i think there was 63 enclave outposts. not gonna make this official because i never checked all of them and i don't know how many were added by that mod

the fact that the east coast enclave were completely separated from the west coast enclave with no contact at all is proof enough for there to be an extremely high likelihood of there being many other enclave chapters and groups out there who exist and are healthy and active, there for we have a high likelihood of seeing a different non-remnant enclave faction at some point again in a future fallout game, which means there is a possibility that said group would actually be a good group of enclave rather than a bunch of evil dudes

In my playthrough, that Albino Scoprion would assault the Enclave soldiers in the outpost, and single handedly kill all of them. I remembering seeing a Hellfire Trooper getting thrown, missing an arm.

If the East Coast Enclave were sealed in Raven Rock for over 200 years then it's more than likely that the soldiers are products of hundreds of years of inbreeding and/or cloning. Probably both. We know Cloning technology exists in the Fallout universe so it's possible that THIS chapter of the Enclave cloned their soldiers after inbreeding.

I wonder what would happen if the Enclave ran their genetic testing on Themselves. In Fallout 2 they said The Chosen One wasn't a pure human because of the background radiation his people had been exposed to for the last 80 years, but by Fallout 3, the Enclave had been living in and travelling, the wasteland for a long time to get to the east coast. They must have been exposed to a lot of background radiation, among other things. There is no way any Enclave members are "Pure Human" anymore.

To explain the strange presence of the molerat and other foreign critters in america you can also suppose that, just as in our universe, invasive species may have been brought to america before the war.

The Mirelurk entry didn't even mention that "Mirelurk Kings" or as they are known in the Mojave, "Lakelurks" are the mutated descendants of snapping turtles.

It's a sign I've acclimatised to Fallout 4 when I'm missing the Fatman shell whistle.

There's a beach I used to go to in Dartmouth Mass that was called Horseneck beach. Yes, we used to find horseshoe crabs there all the time. As for fire ants ... We used to see red ants in Superior Az all the time. They are big and nasty. They will bite and it hurts. If you ever saw the movie The Gauntlet you'd have seen it when they take over the bus in order to go to Phoenix. They renamed it Wickenburg for the movie. Wouldn't be surprised if those particular creatures were based off said in game models. Feel free to Google those places to see if they are real.

It makes sense domesticated dogs wouldn't mutate. They would have been food long before that when people started to stave just weeks after the war.

Oxhorn will you be going back to cover Fallout 4 mods again at some point as there have been loads of settlement creation and other goodies around since you last did one. For example the Conquest sim settlements, snappy, Vanilla extensions and many many more.

Mirelurks ain't just mutated crabs there's the mierlurk King which is amphibian but the lakelurk are also amphibian they probably a form of lizard or frog cant be turtle or tortoise as they don't have any hard shell to protect them there probably a mutated amphibian which one I don't know but it's most likely a breed of mutated amphibious lizard

Are Brahmin mutants? I know it's a silly question to us, but in the Fallout universe, are so common that regular cows are mutants for them. My point being is that Eden's plans for purity, could they survive? Because we know from Ox's playthrough that Mirelurks are dying from mutated FEV. If so, I wonder too what would happen to a special half-human-half-tree character that apparently, could reproduce by spores if wanted too.

It appears that the 15 star is from troops sent by Eden 9 star by Autumn And no flag by both or neither

Once i saw an enclave group wandering the waist land and then was attacked by a rad scorpion and it killed them all whem i went to loot the bodys i saw a sentry bot cut in half i kinda felt bad for the enclave (this was after i raven rock and the air base)
