Very clever build! One thought, after putting down your throughput tester, is cut paste your entire build, as it will start everything over, ensuring no buildup.
At the end where you show the throughput of purple science, you say “it’ll get rid of the buildup” but that build up is permanent because its outputting at the same rate it’s inputting lmao
Excellent design with a lot of useful tricks! Love this series ;) I would like to mention one thing that seems like we only need 13.4 stone bricks per second when we are producing 5.625 purple sciences, thus we won’t need a full stone brick belt.
Amazing build Nilaus! Can't believe you got all those inputs in there. One minor suggestion for the final blueprint, move the two top substations one to the left so it lines up with the constrained substation on the bottom. Love the master class and use your blueprints all the time in my base. Also I can't wait for your eventual master class in O2 not included 😉. Keep up the good work!
@Nilaus +1 Yes please for a train -> belt tutorial! (2 yrs later) I'm trying to integrate this build in 2x size (for a full science belt) in my base and the belts supplying this setup take almost half a city block, would really appreciate some help here!
Why does Nilaus never look at the net machine to know how much more assembler/modules he need and instead breaks his head trying to calculating it with his thicc brain
Rather complicated compared to the design I came up with for doing purple science with 2 rail assemblers per lane, but then my design didn't work. (Stack inserters apparently can't pull off a saturated red belt at full speed.)
