"Where is Beast?" "Beauty, I am the Beast." Wow, took you long enough to realize that. Those dreams were so obvious that even Freud wouldn't have to analyze them.
Yes. Once the curse is broken, it's hard to recognize the Beast for a minute or 2. Every different version, the Beauty character does realize the man before her is the Beast. I haven't seen this version, but might think of maybe ordering this one. Even though, it doesn't have the song Beauty and the Beast
I think that the Disney version is better, cause Beast in the Disney one shows how much he's changed over the time Belle has been there, but in this version Beast is already kind to Beauty and already he loves her
@@beautifuldreamer7204 Yes he is, and yes he does, and that's more true to the original story than the Disney version is. In "La Belle et la Bête," the tale written by Gabrielle-Suzanne de Villeneuve in 1756, the Beast waits upon Belle hand and foot from the moment she arrives at his castle, even setting off a fireworks display to welcome her. Also, he likes nothing better than to sit and talk with Belle, and learns much from her.
Ok i admit this is more than a bit dated but i loved it as a child and love it all the more as an adult, as much as the Disney version! Thank you for uploading this! 😊😊
If you have never seen Cocteau's La belle et la bête, then you have NOT seen Beauty and the Beast. Cocteau's film takes you straight into the world of the 17th century.
I have been looking for this version for so long! I had a copy I taped off the TV back in the late 80’s, but then lost it somewhere along the way. I loved this version.
So in the Original Fairy Tale, Belle is 17 Years Old and has, a Music Box, a Pearl Necklace, a Magic Ring, Enchanted Objects, an Enchanted Rose, a Magic Mirror, Book Types, Library Cards, French Accent, 2 Parents, 3 Brothers, 2 Sisters, 1 Aunt, 1 Spouse, 2 Parents in Law, and Animal Friends.
Magic, excitement, romance, music, action, fantasy, thrills, and adventures. What a charming scene in the fantastical fairy of Beauty and the Beast. Beauty breaks the spell that cursed the prince and transformed him into a hideous beast by loving him and then marries him. Like the song said, "see with your heart." Things are not always what they appear, which is true. I believe it. I never give up believing in fairies and magic with all my heart because I still refuse to grow up, and forget about the precious things I knew, especially those from my childhood. I am like Peter Pan and have his youthful spirit. My one and only wish is to keep the magic alive for all time. And I also wish to be a fairy to stay strong, childlike, young, and beautiful forever and ever like Tinker Bell, and the other fair folks. Believe in magic and never grow up 🧚🧚♂🧚♀🪄
omg, I'm in my 30's korean, when I was 6 or 7 yrs old, my parents bought me these fairytale movie series video tape set. I watched and watched thousands times. I remember helen hunt was in the movie . also I remember the white statues dancing in . I lost the videos after two moves. I came across the series and found it, and so so happy.
In the first place, who remembers dreams that clearly, and in the second, how was she to know that the man who spoke to her was the Beast? He could as easily have been a tenant of the castle from a century before.
Could you had post her nightmare, cause the first line and her knowing where to go, is kind of confusing without her nightmare. The relationship between them at the end is just sweet, simple, nice and you almost don't need the words to show that they do care about each other, even though at parts the lines (poor script at times) seems forced, but still really sweet. Thanks so much for posting these, vids. They are my childhood, in away. Thanks so much!
Actually, that's the TV series (with Vincent and Catherine- which I honestly did like more than this). I think this beast is played by John Savage, or something along those lines...
The beast looks just like my buddy benny at our local watering hole. You gals like a man that looks like a beast,go see benny. He looks just like this everyday after his 2nd breer.

It's no Michael Bay, not Josh Whedon or Ridley Scott so the effects (if there be any at all) may not at all be impressive but at least it has substance when it comes to true story telling. However, I just feel that an effective directing was sort of lacking in that final dying scene, the drama could have been heightened and intensified (it is a dying scene, isn't it?). But anyways, I still really love this, to me it's a classic, and it was that song "if you see with your heart" that drew me here. Thanks for sharing. Me from the 🇵🇭 Philippines : )
OMG will you marry me yes haha @3:50 fireworks cool haha I wanted them to kiss when the fireworks showed up LOL this is so darn cheesy. Where is Beast LOL
