Good decision by Indian government. I, being Nepali citizen, appreciate this decision, because we didn't and don't want Nepali youth as the part of foreign Army, especially of our neighbour country. If India and China, if India and Pakistan fight then we fall into the difficult situation because of our involvement in a fight which is not in our interest. We cheaply misused by one neighbour against another. We did support India for its ptotection of territorial integrity when India was weak and unable to protect herself. Now India has been grownup and can fight for her survival herself.

The renowned valor and courage of Gorkha warriors demand special consideration. The government should reassess the Agniveer scheme's applicability to Gorkhas, recognizing their distinct cultural and martial heritage. Moreover, policies like LIC schemes should be kept distinct from Army recruitment to honor the unique sacrifices of our Gorkha soldiers. Jai Gorkha!!

Army can not be run like a coroprate house. It has its own ethics.

Great Britain and Singapore still recruiting Gurkhas from Nepal every year...And there is more facilities and good salary than in Indian Gurkha Army..😊 Nepalese Gurkhas main aim is to join British Gurkha and Singapore Gurkhas than joining Indian Gurkhas,who failed to join British Gurkha and Singapore Gurkhas they used to try for Indian Gurkhas.. It's good that Indian stopped recruiting Gurkhas..

Firepower is more necessary than manpower. Aspirants should know that our defence budget is limited and we can't continue the same admit process. Army should be strategic and powerful not a source of employment.

As an Indian Gorkha, mujhe lagta hai humari defence aage jaake weak hogi agar Agniveer ko abhi roka nahi gaya toh. Jin Agniveero ko sirf 4 years k liye rakhke 75% ko badhmein lumpsum amount dekey hatadey rahe hai, usse kuch faida nahi hoga. Ulta gunda gardi badhegi aur humare internal secrets bahar aane k chances hai. Upar se 4 saal mein toh practice bhi nahi hoti, agar War lag jaaye toh woh kaise ladhenge? Usse achha yeh scheme nikaale jisse yeh mandatory kara jaaye ki "saare desh wasiyo" ko atleast 4 saal ka Army training lena hai taaki future mein zarurat padhe toh hum sab ready rahe apne desh ki rakhsha k liye. Government ko Agnjpath scheme ko abhi hatadena chahiye. Koi bhi cheez k sath compromise kare lekin defence k sath nahi. Defence strong hai toh desh strong hai. Paise ki problem hai toh Neta k jeb se kaante, Defence, Farmer, Teacher aur Aam insaano se nahi. Yeh kaisa law hai jo 10 baar MLA/MP ya jo bhi Politician banne par 10 baar pay/pension detey hai? Guys😢tbh i was bout to enlist and get ready to die at border but that day i herd one interview he was associated professors with bjp,he said and i qoute " We have to stop recruiting gorkhas because they are going closer to china " 😂 i immediately laigh and said to myself ..i know somthing is about to happen in indian army and later i herd there has been 40/60 ration in gorkha rifles 40 from nepal and 69 from Hill areas of india, this was Under the strategy of bipi rawat as he too from uttrakhand 😢 anyway these newly boomers are unawre of how a gorkha soldiers from nepal is so crucial for indian army but rather they shifting their intrest in indian gorkhas who often felt racism and injustice by government hahaha you think these people wil go for war 😂 indian gorkhey youth are like second udta punjabi 😅. Anyway i have already decided iam gona go enlist in french army but will sacrifice my life for nato intrest.
