Glad to see you added some color to the garden instead of everything being just all green. Your front garden bed in the picture is my favorite. Hope you continue to keep adding colors.
I enjoy all your garden tours because there is so much beauty to see and you share so much good information about various plants. What you said about the early drought affecting the mosquito population got me thinking. We had about a month without rain here in Northeast Ohio and I am not finding many Japanese Beetles on my plants. Perhaps it was too dry for the beetle grubs at just the right time?
Good late evening Soleil! Your garden is looking fantastic. The hydrangeas are wonderful this year. Ours are looking fabulous as well. The limelight’s are slowly starting to turn pink So pretty. Love your brunneras. Mine are filling out. It has been too hot so I will wait to plant them in the ground til it cools off a bit. Enjoy your evening. 🌺🌿💚
So beautiful garden!!! Love to watch one video by one. And it's interesting how you clean garden in autumn))))). Because it's my autumn problem))))) Thanks a lot
I so much enjoy your garden tours. Your flowering plants are amazing! On a future tour could you identify the non-flowering small shrubs in your garden. Their different textures add a lot to your landscape. I am also learning to appreciate foliage as much as flowers. Although I am in zone 8b in the Pacific Northwest, my little shade garden has many of the same plants. I’m looking forward to your next video tour.
You are supposed to cut off the leaves as soon as they start to show the infection and toss. Sprays don't work great because they don't stick to the leaves. 🙂🪴🏵🌻
My hostas are huge and I'm thinking about taking them out completely. I have a small garden and they're outgrowing most of the other plants. I never knew hostas could grow that big
Your gardens are looking amazing for almost the beginning of August! Hydrangeas add so much this time of year! Can you tell me if you have to prop up your Annabelle? My blooms get so heavy and hang to the ground. I love all your shade areas. Your hostas look slug-free. Those tiarellas are so striking. I just recently discovered your channel and am so enjoying seeing your videos.
So beautiful!! Question: I purchased a couple of Weeping Norway Spruce trees and when doing some research online to know where/how to plant them one of your videos popped up, it was from April 2021. I see the tree in this video at approximately 15:30. Can you please tell me how much it has grown for you since planting it and if you have had any problems with it? Thank you.
@@Suburbanoasis Thank you for telling me about your staking the tree, that was very helpful. And thank you for always taking the time to answer my question.
Lovely garden ❤ about 18 minutes in you called a plant a rippled "vergina" maybe. I loved it, what was the name of it. I couldn't find anything under what I thought you said. Thanks
LOVELY, as usual, Soleil !!! Can you make a video of how to prune your shrubs into a tree form? (I've got a rose-of-sharon I'm working on). Little bunnies are so darn cute, but...mine has nipped at the base of my coneflowers and just left them there - stem, bud and all. Really????
