It's the final build episode of the Transport Fever 2 Mainline series and I'm not sure what to do. I'm sure something will occur to me in due course.
Meanwhile, this video has a 10 min feature on the BenQ ScreenBar Halo in the middle of it. I was only asked to do 60-90 seconds but I was rather enjoying myself, so did a full unboxing kinda deal. It's not like they paid me to do this, I did it in exchange for a magic lamp and for funsies. You might not find it funsies at all, in which case by all means skip it, but you'll be missing out. Love playing with a new gizmo, me.

Thanks for another great series, would love to see you do a superhub series, even a non profitable one, just for the sheer amount of train movements in and out. benq light bar looks great, but at £149 it’s too much!.

I enjoyed all of your TPF series you've done so far, but I have to say, this one is special somehow. I can't pinpoint exactly what it is, but seeing this series come to an end leaves somewhat of a heavy feeling. I'm really looking forward to the next one and what you got planned. Btw, that unboxing was ace!

This is something you might want to consider to do more often; little unboxing things like that. You said you like gizmo's, let them give you those for free. It was not just fun, the way you did this is refreshing; honest and mid video without it feeling like a commercial. Just think of it; if you like it, you keep it. If you don't like it, throw it towards the brigade or something. Win win situation in my head, as long as you only record one of those if you feel like it.

I fear not many of the good citizens of Utopia Planitia who may fancy an outing to Rapture or Racoon City are sufficiently blessed with the sense of aesthetics (to appreciate the river views) or adventure (will we crash into that bridge?) to take the hovercraft... and will just take the (fairly direct) train /tram route instead. They don't know what they are missing.

A great series., i haven't played TF2 in years but i do love your presentation style and obvious creativity As for Windows Update. My wife's laptop yesterday, refused to boot up, following a mystery update at some point the day before which messed up "something" no manner of troubleshooting could solve, so a wipe and reinstall became the cure.

Another series masterclass :) ... and yes that last windows update put me through 4 blue screens of death to get started and fortunately I actually remembered to check my audio before todays stream only to find my microphone had been changed to something with every letter of the alphabet plus several numbers ??? of course no such microphone so quickly remedied that before going live. Wish they'd leave user settings alone.

It looks really good and it is available in Australia but at $249 I can understand why there are plenty available. It's a shame it's so expensive because BenQ make good stuff, all of my monitors are BenQ.

hmm, that light bar being above the monitor, and if you have the monitor up around face level, to me seems like it's also shining in your eyes, making whether it shines glare on the monitor kind of aside from the point to me. Maybe you had the cam you were using to show us, lower than your face would be, but as shown I wouldn't like a strip of bright light in my line of sight. I may of course be misjudging on this, I wasn't in the room.

Nowhere near my eyes. I have to duck quite a bit to be able to see the little LEDs. Almost like it's designed that way.

I only use laptops so totally useless for me but that did look like a mighty fine toy I have to say. On the downside, unless you have VERY pinpoint lighting which it appears you don't, you've got a dead pixel on your camera boss

What a great series, thanks for the time you put into producing it Colonel! I noticed the wired mouse and keyboard. I can understand the keyboard since you're sitting at a desk, but does the mouse wire not drive you nuts? I'm curious if you use wired due to possible 2.4Ghz interference from your wireless router? I was elated to discover this was my issue and now only run the router at 5Ghz and solved that pesky 2.4Ghz crosstalk and occasional mouse freeze.

I've only ever used wired for both. As a result I've never had a flat battery.

@@colonelfailure That gentle tug of the wire when moving the mouse always drove me nuts. A flat battery is rarely an issue as I plug it into a charger when not in use. But there is definite interference from the router that took a while to discover and it was affecting the wireless mouse on the same frequencies. Improvise, adapt, overcome is always in play.

They do a controllerless version I believe. Not that I care either way, but I am rather taken with it.

@@colonelfailure oh I agree, the light itself is great! the one I got even had RGB so I could adjust it to any color hue I wanted... but that controller... UGH lol
