I would LOVE to hear what you are doing next year. We have used Abeka Academy for 7 years… and we are switching too. My youngest will still do their 1st grade core videos and we may do Bible as a family during breakfast.. but it was just getting too long for my 7th grader. We will continue with Abeka’s workbooks for certain subjects (like math) but doing them without the videos. We are also trying Masterbooks History (with audiobook!) to change things up… Enjoy your summer break!!
Allie is so grown up and seems so responsible, smart sweet girl. I don't blame her not wanting to cut her hair, it's her trade mark, she looks pretty was her long hair.

The kids are all cute, Allie is absolutely adorable, I love that she wants to keep her hair long , it's so pretty, I just wished she would talk more! John works most of the day, comes home and seems to just want the kids to go to bed, seems a little sad, I understand he might be tired but those girls are such a blessing. My husband worked a hard job for many years but his highlight of the day was to come home and spend time with the kids!
You don’t know them 😂 and yet you put this big ol explanation of the husband like you’ve been living their with them your whole life just because he said his favorite time of the day is when the kids are all in bed? Most people are really happy when it’s bed time when they have that many younger kids because weather you are at home with them or go to work and come home to them guess what YOUR’RE GONNA BE TIRED! and nothing wrong with mom and dad getting alone and quiet time away from the kids while they sleep. Please go outside and touch some grass if him saying that upset you

I’d love to watch a vlog about your home schooling curriculum-how you chose it & why it’s better than the one you were losing. We never homeschooled. To me, I thought our 3 kids needed a “break” from me and to see other students every day.

The girls were cute about their haircuts. Nice to have a friend come to you. I homeschooled my 4 kids all the way through. Even though I am no longer in that stage of life - I would have watched a video of what others are choosing to do. It’s always helpful to get ideas. So I’d say make your video even if not every viewer would need it. I didn’t always attend our local homeschool curriculum conferences but they are helpful as well as used curriculum fairs. And I signed up for the Rainbow Resource catalog to come in the mail (it’s huge) and would sit and look at it for hours reading the reviews. Very helpful to me. Have a great summer break.

It’s so true in this stage of life with busyness and little kids. Enjoy the time together after kids are in bed and talk, have snacks and watch a show - just restore for the start of another busy day. LOVE at he haircuts. Ai think it’s great for girls to know how beautiful they are no matter the length of their hair. And shorter manageable cuts are wonderful for summer, especially!!!

They travel a lot, so I doubt it. We also travel and sending our children to a private or public school would hinder that. Our state does not allow for more than 5 absentees; after that truancy is considered.

I have really long hair so I like Allie’s hair long. I think Lexi wanted to keep her long hair but she didn’t want to disappoint you. All the girls are absolutely adorable and their cuts looked cute. Interested in homeschooling information and how you manage it. It’s very inspiring as I only homeschool my oldest daughter who’s 6 but I have 2 little ones and plan to homeschool all 3 of them one day.
Put the kids into school a day(a couple a days?) in the week and you can have lunch together in house or at Olive garden.😊 And enjoy you're kids more with the time their home.❤
