I have had to free up my railway room. Deresley has reached the end on the line. Dr Beeching has had the final word. But, I have found a new partnership with John Tothill, creator of 'Canal Sidings Model Railway.

I am saddened that Deresley is to be lost. It has been such a pleasure watching the layout develop over the years. I do hope you are keeping al of your past videos available, they are very useful for reference. The partnership you are forming looks as though t will be marvelous. I wish you both well.

Hi David, I just wanted to say thank you very much for your series on the Dapol 15 ton crane. I followed it almost to the letter to create a lovely breakdown crane set for my Hornby Dublo project with a Dapol/Airfix Drewry Shunter as the motive power, finished in a similar gunmetal grey, but not weathered, to be consistent with the other models. It looks great and fits in with the period perfectly. When the layout is bit further down the track I will film this model and publish it on youtube (with appropriate acknowledgements). Looking forward to your coming projects. All the best, Guy
