I'm Aja Dang and this is your end of the year financial checklist. Besides setting our 2023 goals, now is the time to reflect on how you've been managing your personal finances. This list goes above whether or not you accomplished budgeting and savings goals but it's also time sit down to make sure your long term financial plans still align with what you want. Aja - I just had an emotional moment. I have been following you since 2017 when you were on your debt-free journey, and have been following you since up until now. It was such a hard experience for you but you got the damn thing DONE. And cut to now - where you are a literal finance guru, accomplishing goals and sharing wisdom with the masses. You are so on top of your financial health, and you should be so so so proud of yourself. We are all so proud and happy for you! You CASHFLOWED YOUR DAMN WEDDING!!! We love you Aja !!!

Hey Aja, as always thank you for the helpful insights to end the year. I think another thing I would add to the end of year audit is to check all of your subscriptions and potentially see if you can barter with the carrier in the new year (i.e. internet, phone, etc.). Love the content and think your right about looking back at your financial accomplishments in the past year!

This got me fired up! I’m getting married summer 2023. It’s a wedding planned by my in-laws so I’ve accept that it’s going to be bigger and more expensive than I want. But now I want to fully find my half of it! I was going to just save for whatever I could and use a line of credit for the rest. Thank you for motivating me!! I’m pretty sure I can do it… 😬🤞🏼

Also want to add: check if you’re on track of tax withholding. If not, just remember to set aside some money come April 15 next year.

I appreciate the consistency of your videos. I have horrible money management habits and I am ✨influenced✨way too frequently to make impulse purchases. I have recently turned a corner in my career where I make a better income and would like to take advantage of the opportunity to make smarter investments. Your videos help guide and inspire me to make better decisions. And I have utilized the concept of sinking funds to renovate my guest bathroom and save for a Dyson vacuum 😂 Thank you for all that you do and congratulations on meeting your 2022 goals, that’s really awesome 👏 💯💰

there are definitely some people planners who have a (very large) minimum but others don't. Mine, for instance, is a long-time friend who took me on when I had $0 (right after the debt pay off).

I’m transitioning from my w2 job as a professional dancer to a full time with my scorp (my tax prep specialist transferred my side hustle to an scorp but so lost on how to work this) Either way - can you shed some light on *beginner/basic* accounting as a freelancer if you’re an LLC or SCORP (not sure what your biz is classified as) If so THANK U in advance!

The most important thing for me is that I found in 2022. method that works for me and it helped me to succeed way more than the previous years. It was far from perfect, but I see myself going strong with what I want to accomplish while still living a beautiful life. That balance is everything! I have been following you since 2019. 2023 will be my second year with MSTRPLN and I feel encourage for what is to come!
