I am not one to usually leave bad reviews, but if I can keep anyone from making the same mistake I did by going here at all, I will. If I could give this place negative stars I would. This doctor's bedside manner is horrible. He talks down to you and makes you feel like an idiot for asking any questions at all. I was there to have a medically necessary procedure done. It was not cosmetic. No shade to people having cosmetic work done, but that was not MY purpose. Post surgery he looks up and down my legs and tells me he can fix all that (spider veins). 1. Obviously you can, but that's not what I'm here for. 2. Thanks for body shaming a mom of five who couldn't afford that procedure even if she wanted to. For weeks I was hounded about leaving them a raving review. I declined. I didn't have to make a stink, but I wasn't going to say something that wasn't true either. Fast forward to the present. A year and a half after the surgery they are saying it was not preauthorized and that I have to pay for the surgery. I had appropriate insurance, it was confirmed that I was preauthorized to have the surgery. They say it was preauthorized, but insurance says it was never authorized. So here I am stuck in the middle of an issue that is no fault of mine. They keep blaming insurance and insurance insists that it is the doctor's fault. Someone in some compacitu has royally screwed up and somehow I am on the hook for a bill I can't afford and should not be mine to worry about in the first place. After speaking with insurance it is legally documented that they spoke to someone in their office that not only recognized the error, but cleared me of all responsibility. Ironically, the doctor's office says that conversation never took place. Something feels so shady about this entire situation. They have told me that they have fought the insurance company on this issue and I recognize that. They have also reduced my bill. However it is still a large expense to have to pay when I was appropriately covered annd preauthorized at the time. I am sharing my experience so that you have an idea of the ethics of the doctor you are choosing to do business with. I am assuming they will get on here and refute this entirely, nothing I can do about that....however, if I can keep someone else from being talked down to and treated unfairly and unethically that's all that really matters.
