Tailwheel airplanes are back in style! Old warbirds, vintage taildraggers, and the resurgence in the back country flying have brought tailwheel aircraft into the spotlight... but these are all single engine tailwheel aircraft. What about the twin engine or multi-engine tailwheel planes? Why are they so rare now and are they fading away? Planes like the Beech 18 and the Lockheed Electra or the 12A are becoming more rare every day!
