This said character was an antagonist, that was annoyed by the MC the entire movie and was aggressive towards him the entire time too. He also beat the MC multiple times and even threatened to kill his Girlfriend. But since he's black, it didn't matter what he did, even if he killed the innocent (Which He Did) or steal stuff (Which He Also Did), he was never in the wrong in Rob's head. He also thought a little girl (El from Stranger Things) was racist because she injured (Accidentally btw) a kid (That happened to be Black) who was beating the kid she liked. This said kid was called Black Boy by Rob the entire time and not by his actually name, Lucas.

The man has a great amount of dislike for emotional characters. Dunno why, but watch him react to any show. If a character shows emotional vulnerability, he doesn't like them. Probably not if they're a female, but, like, how can you hate on Alphonse Elric the entire time in FMAB to the point of still thinking he's the weakest link to the show by the end and HOPING he gets offed for good? How does someone end up liking Goblin Slayer more? To Rob, emotion equals weakness, so, naturally, the reason why a lot of people like a lot of shows, he's gonna probably hate them for the same reason.

Rannulfus that's not always the case. Rob likes zenitsu from demon slayer, who's a character that cried as much if not more then deku did.

@@princelamar1735 I haven't seen Demon Slayer myself yet, nor have I watched anyone's reaction to it, but I'll bet that there's a subtle reasoning for Rob's approval of Zenitsu vs all the characters he seems to disapprove of. Perhaps it's in the reasons as to why Zenitsu gets emotional compared to other characters from other series, or perhaps it's in the character's actions, like there's a threshold Rob feels of how emotional a character can get dictated by how hard they fight (or something like that). I'll have to take a look at it. It would definitely be very interesting to analyze and see exactly what makes this character different from the others. But, for now, from what I've seen of his reactions, and the conversations people have had in the comments section about reactions to other anime, he seems to have something against most characters that are portrayed to be highly emotional.

While I think most MHA fans mean well, you have to admit that even if they're not "toxic" per se, some of them definitely have a misguided way of dealing with it at best. While I totally agree with what you and others are saying, some fans (you NOT included), make valid points but deliver it in a way that's, if we're being generous, borderline hateful. Taunting your opponent and insulting their intelligence is not how you win an argument or convince anyone of anything. The worst part is that this extreme part of the fandom making these arguments sticks out much more than comments from people like us, giving the other side as well as RTTV themselves a way to make caricatures out of ALL fans, us included. If these fans really want RTTV to see MHA in its entirety with all its beautiful complexity and nuance, then they should convey their messages more civilly. Again I'm not saying that you fit into this category. You've done an excellent job outlining arguments I've made over weeks with dozens of comments, turning it into one concise comment considering the amount of subject matter you covered. I was simply responding to your "Toxic MHA fanboys" argument. Couldn't agree more. I can totally understand people's reason for not liking Gentle or the Arc, but we can't expect hype ass stuff all the time. I'm not saying for you to like it, but to call a show trash when it has moments that people call "unnecessary" is needed. I don't see those same people complaining when it came to Naruto or dragon ball and I can agree that if there is any community that is high on the toxicity I can say it's definitely out of those two. I agree with what you said. For the majority of MHA fans, this doesn't sit well. But I would like to add that there is quite a substantial portion of their subscriber base that does indeed only watch hype reactions. From the standpoint of monetary gain and appeasing a certain part of their fan base, I can respect them. But from the standpoint of appealing to the rest of the MHA fan base and providing good paced reactions, they kinda done goofed.

They can tease it on RU-vid where the vast majority of their fan base is. Even though it's only two days from now, two days in this age of internet plus the current predicament can seem like an eternity for some. After they've gotten all the money they can get from patreon, they can post it on RU-vid and it will still get a ton of views since they have a high number of subscribers and the release has been hyped up for two days. Not to mention a lot of people will still want to view it since it's a hype season finale and there's no new episodes to keep up to date on.
