Endeavour Captain James Cook Ship - Finished Wooden Model 

This Ship sailed round the world under the command of Captain James Cook. The Ship Endeavour setting out from Plymouth, England, on 8th August 1768 and arriving back in London on 13th July 1771. The purpose of this expedition was to observe the passing of the planet Venus between the Earth and the sun, and estimate the distance between the stars and to use this information as a way of calculating the parameters of the universe.
🇱🇹Laivas išplaukė į kelionę aplink pasaulį 1768 rugpjūčio 8 d. komanduojamas kapitono Džeimso Kuko ir sugrįžo į Londoną 1771 metų Liepos 13 d. Kelionės tikslas buvo stebėti Veneros judėjimą tarp Saulės ir Žemės, taip pat apskaičiuoti atstumą tarp žvaigždžių ir panaudoti informaciją skaičiuojant visatos mastą.
