I'd probably flip the pad the other way round so the logo and tag are out of the way, very rookie mistake indeed. Wonder how this stacks up to the rog scabbard
So they fixed the logo as im sure youre well aware. I just went from an inked gaming pad (fantastic pads btw) to this (MCP890) and ive never ever used a low friction pad before and HOOOLY! Im obsessed. In the past im always using glass skates and ceramic coating them to be as fast as possible and now i dont need to do that. In fact i just picked up a Lamzu Atlantis Mini and decided to just keep the stock PTFE feet on the dang thing because they work extremely well with this pad. I compare that to my modded out Razer Viper v2 Pro with ceramic coated glass feet and the PTFE is quite a bit quicker and i even tested my completely modded and gutted Logitech G303 with diamond graphine coated SuperGlide V1s and yet the stock PTFE feet of the Atlantis Mini are STILL faster on this pad. I absolutely love it and am not sure what i should even try out next. I have never had or tried an Artisan pad so i may try the Raiden at some point but i have a Razer Viper Mini Signature Edition on order that should be here in a few days so we will see how that works on this pad as well. Im excited.
Sadly not :/ Honest reviews don't get you most views and you won't grow as big when you're absolutely honest like he is since some companies won't send him stuff. But we love him this way and he will definitely get more popular than currently.
I just received my MPC450 yesterday and it was the updated version. Tag under the pad (which I cut off as close to the stitching as I could) and the logo is now just the Endgame logo that also has the same glide ad the rest of the pad.
I would have issues even if the logo didn't affect the glide, they should remove the text part altogether. Will wait for the updated version which they promised to make.
@@boardzy they created a version without a big logo already, so it's 9/10 - 10/10? The friction on a usual cloth mousepad is waaay to high for me, but hard pads stick way too hard on my wrist all time... The amp500 Hybrid pad had a good speed but was very inconsistent... after a 1 week sweating it felt completly wrong and different into all directions, so i hope the mpc450 ist the way to go now
Maybe flip the pad upside down? So the logo doesn't interfere AS much. And if that cordura logo annoys you just cut it off. Endgame as always delivers on batch 2 so we'll see. Have you tried the endgame mouse bungee yet? It's literally a camade but im curious if it's as good
Finally someone who talks about static friction! The only reason why I like hard pads is the lower static friction, but they smooth out in one or two months, which is why I switched to hybrid. The one I've been using the longest is Zowie P TF-X, which is the smaller version of G TF-X. Sadly, it still smooths out over time, but it lasts a lot longer. If you can, could you share your opinion if the MPC450 is similar or better than the P / G TF-X ? Thanks a lot!
I got the G TF-X a little over a month ago and it's already starting to get muddy. Do you have any recommendations for another hybrid pad that might be better in terms of durability?
@@Kite-asura Sadly, the MPC450 also gets muddy after a few months (the only one I used with glass skates). I'm not sure there's a pad out there that won't wear out if you're using a high(er) DPI, which is my case. I've tried hard pads, soft pads and it's always the same. I haven't tried silicone pads like Razer Megasoma, but that one was expensive when it was released and I counldn't justify paying that much for a Razer pad... I've also had also, ARTISAN Raiden MID and it still gets that "shine" and muddy feeling. Maybe a glass pad would be different?
I seen one of your tier lists and purchased this mousepad but the stealth edition and its nice! Literally just has the endgame logo small and in the corner.
I just got my MPC-890 Stealth Edition, and WOW is it a massive difference coming from a generic cloth pad off of Amazon. The glide is amazingly smooth, and I feel like the stopping power is enough for me. The stitching on mine is good, no frays anywhere, though it still sticks up a tiny bit above the mat. I don't notice it too much, though. And the new, tiny logo isn't noticeable, thank god. Now I need a new mouse to go with it, lol
@@benloko I ended up changing it because I wanted something softer, but my younger brother is still using it. Honestly the glide is still pretty much the same.
I was thinking about this. tho after I bought 2 artisans I shouldn´t look back anywhere to other pads. but I like endgame as a brand. they really going on a high level with this one. their mouse is really good tho
Hey Boardzy, see if you can get your hand on the Cougar Freeway. I know you are not a fan of their mice but the pad is a great cordura pad imo, and it's cheap.
Hey boardzy i love your videos i even started reviewing products because of you also maybe the company thought that having the mouse stop gliding at the edge of the mouse pad was a good feature it probably was an intentional design i think its like that because they want your mouse too not slide off the mouse pad ...... side note this is just a thought i could be 100% wrong
Lol that’s why that’s why copycat from the same factory is better the logo is smol. My solution for the stitches is placing a cloth smooth towel that’s higher a bit than the stitched as my arm pivot point so don’t feel the stitches and can move my arms better
boardzy quick question my viper mini side tutors just broke, I am going to get a new mouse and use sideuttons for fortnite. Do i get the g pro wireless or endgame xm1 or another mouse?
Hi boardzy I got the g-wolves skoll two days ago and I found out that I can set the debounce time to 0ms and it feels great. Do you know any other mice do that other than viper? I’m curious.
i just bought the pad, i bought the old version cuz it was 11 euros instead of 20 euros but when i opened the package it was the new version somehow lol
@@nosocop5702 when I first used the MPC450, it definitely made my mouse (stock Razer Viper Mini) glide. After almost a year after I’ve purchased mine, it seems that it needs to be washed. Tho the mousepad still looks brand new. I mostly play Apex Legends and osu as well as some Valorant occasionally.
I bought it for the speed and microadjustments but the center of the pad is much slower after just 2 weeks. To the point, it's hard to microadjust after flick or from pos 0. I wipe it everyday with dry microfiber cloth, and with damp one once a week. Should I use a detergent maybe? I wash my hands pretty often even though they don't sweat unless hot summer, so no idea how it slowed down so fast.
@@tinychamberz Overwashing? My old cloth pads washed in the washmachine multiple times haven't slowed down so badly. Edges of the MPC450 are fast even though I washed them as much as the middle. I decided to wash it with a detergent and a brush not gently at all, let it sink in the water, and it was much better, but still the middle is kind of meh comparing it to the edges. So it's either a bad quality control, Endgame selling "renewed" as new, or the shop selling worn out as new. Anyway, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, and I'll probably buy Razer Strider when my budget isn't so tight...
