This show did a good job expanding the world of Pacific Rim, humanity is losing this war, with every victory brings too much sacrifice. Really wondering where the future of this world will go and how will they finally turn the tides.
I want a sequel, I want anime movies or something with Hailey, Taylor, Mei, Boy, and their Dad. There’s so much potential, and I would much rather see more Pacific Rim anime with these exact same characters than live-action content. I hope there are others that agree with me
a new anime that happens a long time after the black like in 3025 where taylor and hayley are legends who survived operation blackout boy would probably still be alive fighting for the PPDC and atlas destroyer would be a legendary jeager because of surviving the black with limited resources a new jeager would be made in honor of atlas destroyer called "Atlas Savior" it would be a training/field jeager.when in training for pilots it would disable weapons but in field it weapons would be enabled and they would reuse all the destroyed/decomission jeagers from the 1st and 2nd war to create better jeagers with them making a big fabricater to make jeagers and in the future woul dbe deemed useless because afte rthe jeager was built it would take 18 months just to add an ai digital advancements,etc and by the tim they add everything they get easily destroyed because the fabricater would only use iron. 1 like = part 2
After what they been through: Couldn't save the survivors from Shadow Basin, find Bogan, find Mei, find Boy, Defeated Copperhead. All the sacrifices: Shane, Loa and Brina to save them. They made home, but not Brina. Two new members to the family, Mei and Boy. I would like to say Their journey has come to a end. Saddest Anime Ending ever. I cried.😭😭
I really want Brina to survive I was so satisfied in episode 6 where their whole family GOT FINALLY REUNITED. Plot twist "what was that beeping sound?" I shrugged it off but it was just a drift and those memories created by Loa it's just so tragically satisfying to see. Shane he redeemed himself so good I cheered for him, he fixed his mistakes and even though a little there is still a humanity left in Shane his development was so well elaborated in just a short time the plot is 100/10 for me so good same level as 86🥰😍🥰😍

I don’t think this is the end. I think this is only the end of a single Arc in a much larger story. Hopefully we get more because honestly this has got to be my favorite installment in the Pacific Rim franchise.
Me and My Dad saw the movies and own them, we agree that the story improved over time. Pacific Rim The Black is the best, Uprising is 2nd, and the original is 3rd. I want to see more of these exact same characters, I am not interested in seeing new characters if it replaces these ones
If Netflix were to grant me one request going forward, it would be the continuation of Hayley, Tayler, their Dad, Mei, and Boy's story. I see so so much potential still to be uncovered with them and this world
If there won’t be a 3rd season, then I want a movie or movies to continue with these characters. I love the comics, but I don’t want to see any other characters take the place of the Travis family. I want to see them, there’s so much potential, Mei’s memories, Hailey, Taylor, and Mei can become Pilots, and Boy is fun. I’d like to see more of this, or I will NEVER be satisfied
@@carsenmaxwell3336 I agree I also would like to see stuff like Taylor and Hayley are better now and work well together, Taylor and boy start bonding, the heroes take down the kaijus in the canyon and richter tries to get revenge on Taylor and Hayley but he fails and gets killed by either mei or a kaiju

i hate that the pacific rim franchise is over. i would love to have seen an academy series of yeager pilot cadets in training. or see things from the kaiju perspective. or even see a little more of the precursors that send the kaiju. i feel there is still so much potential for pacific rim.
Yeah I mean, she was in pretty bad shape even before getting mortally wounded by the rippers, having her mind all gargled with the high priestess trying to erase her humanity completely. We don't even know if or how much of her physical makeup could have been restored with treatment. Either way, her being forced into the sisterhood was obviously meant to be symbolic and indicative of her sacrifice and dedication to her family.
over the marshall's shoulder at 0:57 secs to the right is charles hansen probably a memento to chuck hansen who died in pacific rim 1 aka the one who piloted with marshall pentacost to close the breach
@@metal_fusion no u bloody idiot Chuck is dead aka Charles hansen... Hercules hansen or Herc is listed as missing in action though the wiki says he is dead without any clear evidence just like in the comics of Pacific Rim The Blackout
Yea i want to see about horizion brave and romeo blue because we never seen them fighting we just seen romeo blue fighting hardship but its just a clip of it i want see about other jaeger like victory alpha and lucky seven which piloted by herc hansen and his brother and i want see the team drop in manila which is said by raliegh becket and herc hansen and the information about that team drop in manila is where we seen three jaegers fight together those three jaegers are lucky seven , horizion brave and gipsy danger vs a cat 4 kaiju where horizion brave almost got destroyed i want to see that battle

I do think this is the end of the Pacific Rim franchise. Because Warner Bros. has not said anything for a pacific rim 3 and this is last season of Pacific Rim the Black
The PPDC got really good pilots plus a kaiju human kaiju hybrid who could possibly get even stronger as he grows and develops his power they may be whats needed to turn the tide
Imagine if that idiot richter came across apex tried to tamper with it only apex rises and sees richter and sees a memory of him shooting boy and apex stomps on him and finishes him then heads over to the canyons that are filled with kaiju and eats all of them
Not sure that holds up all that well as a reason to keep around a fish-out-of-water living being who might not have had any place on Earth going forward
I think the Travis siblings actually died. The scene where they get to the city and reunite with their father is almost the same as to the mother simulation. So maybe Mei and Kid did survive but not Taylor and his sister.
@@johanhernandez1803 the thing is that's what DID happen. Your only argument is that both situations play put similarly when there's 3 differences. 1. In brina's dream the characters get to the base WAAAAAAY too easily 2. Atlas destroyer is still with them 3. Brina is with them as well despite the injuries she had The real ending is more realistic and just shows it's the legitimate ending. No human can get thrashed by a kaiju and somehow survive. Every main hero jaeger does die by the end of it's journey and obviously the sisters weren't going to let our characters go so easily. What brina thought of was a easy simple happy ending. What we got was a realistic ending the characters had to earn to get.

2 seasons will do fine. If u want sequels ask for the missing third live action. After all this is by no means a Gojira franchise which after years of toons now has anime as well.

I think we all do, although I will say I'm not entirely sure what more there was necessarily to tell in her story, so I'll bet that's likely why they decided to kill her off. Brina was a really strong supporting/recurring character but I'm honestly not sure how well she'd work as part of the main ensemble

To be fair she is pretty guilty for. Ya'know . Being the sole reason every friend she ever had was dead. So she developed a tendency to not leave anyone behind.

This ain't sad. Now yes, Hayley and Taylor's mother died but in the end, Hayley, Taylor, Boy, and Mei made it out alive. That is far from sad atleast for me. edit : okay maybe this is quite a sad ending, but hey their dad is still alive

This anime was good but that ending was just not it you are telling me that the "dream" they gave their dying mother became true not only that but the father didn't do jack to go save them he did say he tried but come on if the love of my life and my children were out there for 5 YEARS i would literally tear the sidney base apart until they let me go or make a rescue team and i'm in it the father did nothing and that's what got their mother killed he left her out there alone for all those years is just heartbreaking she deserve better
Oh Brina. If she hadn’t become a Jaeger Pilot with her husband and partner Ford, she and Ford should’ve stayed and spend a lot more with Taylor and Hayley now and forever and have normal and happy lives.
