Yep I agree I admire the two couple didn't know they were main characters 😀 ending was vague don't make sense why the other two characters came on time to help smh.
No idea how RU-vid led me here or what this series is, or why I am watching it for that matter, but I've got to say this: the music score - phenomenal! Hits you right through the heart... 💔💔💔
Plenty of time for fang Jianming to rescue the emperor and tilan from daylight to night time, but sadly that’s the plot. The emperor and tilan needed to die for jianming to perform baixi in order to save the emperor’s lineage. Otherwise the emperor wouldn’t allow jianming to risk his life when they could have had another child. The ending was also open ended, we don’t know if fang jianming is actually dead, because if he died baixi would’ve been broken and the kid would also die. The kid mentioned his mentor had health problems and that his mentor would be very happy if haishi visited.
So heart wrenching to watch.. I have watched the series over and over again and this scene always gets me.. I wish the writers had given them a happy ending. Hopefully they will be cast in another series as the main leads and will get their happy ending. ❤

Sure when I had my Son ,lady across the room had a 9 pound was up making herself beautiful for her husband .I was sick still in pain my son was 7lbs . I didn't care if my husband came that evening I felt miserable for 5 days later.
I watched clips when this drama ended and men were in tears of how unlucky Fang Jiaming is. I cried then, i cried now. I loved both couples and this ending sucked. He didn’t die though… so there was a little hope

Everyone keeps saying how sad it is frankly I think it's a very emotional moving story and I have only gotten to see bits and pieces of it very moving story I like it it's different from what we watch here in the States.
I have not watched this drama, just clips, but the beginning of their love seems like Stockholm Syndrome to me. To the end, if anything, she brainwashed herself to love him because she had no other choice.

Una de las series mas bonitas que he visto me ha hecho llorar , el significado tan grande ,la historia de 2 amores ,la vida le dio a xu otra oportunidad y al maestro le enseño a amar , gracias por tan bellas historias ,tal vez para algunos no les guste este final triste , pero en la vida real muchas veces pasa cada ser humano tiene una historia que guarda en su corazon , la vida es aprendisaje continuo ...

Em a "Mulher do rei ",dá até pra se conformar um pouquinho,pois acho que foi a maneira do autor penalizar o Rei.Mas em "O sorriso deixou seu olhos",a vontade que tive foi esganar o autor!🤣🤣🤣😅 Ainda assim,aconselho vc assistir pois são duas obras maravilhosas! Una gran tragedia la del emperador y su esposa, la ambición desmedida y el deseo de poder terminan de esta manera y pensar que sigue sucediendo. El ser humano no tiene límites y destruye a su propia familia con tal de tener el control del hombre.

Fiquei só o drama tbm, mas não tinha como romantizar a história do casal mesmo, ele a violentava, sei que se passa em outros tempos e mesmo assim eles acabaram se apaixonando um pelo outro. No entanto pelo contexto das ações dele, acabou sendo assassinado.
The newborn baby is so big. And so clean. The mother running rightaway so normally like nothing just happen to her uterus. Yes I know this is a drama 😆... but I can't help laughing, remembering my own birthing experience.. I couldn't barely stand or walk, let alone running 😆 I can't never watch any birthing drama the same way like before I had it on my own.. This one is too unrealistic. 🥲 I'm sorry for ruining this 🥲😁 (At least, I expect some acting pain when she tries to run to the Emperor)
On her running 😂 I saw 2 women, both having given birth get into a fight in the hospital hallway because the same guy was the father. Both babies were maybe a couple of hours old. Weird situation to see. The nurses were yelling about stitches and blood loss but the women kept fighting. Crazy
I visit my cousin in the hospital when she gave birth and i saw a baby in the other bed and ask if the baby is 3months old ,but all the babies there is newborn or a day or two days old 😁🤣 and every woman is different about giving birth some do bleed a lot others don't even need to cut to deliver a baby ..
I agree with you hahaha. But it makes me remember about my grandma’s experience in giving birth to 11 children. Back in the day, the mothers in Bali, worked in a field in the morning, went back home for awhile to give birth, and returned to the field in the afternoon. Majority of the people back then were farmers. Also she also gave birth by the river while taking water to bring home.
Maybe adrenaline kicked in and in a intense situation like that seeing someone you love be hurt or damaged I'd probably do the same. And iv given birth before lol. 🥺

yeah,i think yes... because ML use the same method tht he use bfr to ah xu and now to his son which like if the baby get hurt or anything all will pass to ML which ML will suffer instead of the baby,the baby should be dying but because the ML use the method that why ML die instead of the baby...at the end if i not mistaken the FL had raise the baby to become emperor
