Van life Europe is over!! I make the big decision to ship my van back from Europe to Canada and have to get myself and the van all the way to Hamburg, Germany from Greece.
Join me for a ferry boat ride from Greece to Italy, a very delightful road trip through the length of Italy, a quick drive through Switzerland and Germany, and finally a day of preparations to get my van ready to be loaded onto a RoRo vessel and sail across the Atlantic Ocean.
This was a really fun road trip and I enjoyed bringing you along for the journey.

Thankful that you didn't encounter any forest fires in Greece. Thankful that you drove all those thousands of Kilometers without any vehicle or traffic issues. Thankful that the ferry crew was able to help you get on the ferry (ferry guys are usually pretty good that way!) Welcome back home. Take care. ❤

Very big changes to the plan! A lot of work to pull this off but having Essy back will be so awesome and possibly make your West Coast adventures easier. I hope that the van was fully functional and didn't add to the difficulties. Good luck with the shipping, hopefully you can mitigate the theft problem durings Essy's transit home.

Big changes!! Everything is working great on the van and I’ve heard from Brian that the shipping went super well! No theft this time! Yahoo!!

Great video. I also took an RV on a ferry once … Washington to Vancouver. It was a 40’ class A, and I remember being so worried about taking something that big. Then I saw all those semi truck and trailer rigs going on, and as you mentioned … they are so efficient at loading vehicles. We even had two dogs with us, and it was a beautiful ride.

This trip of yours has been a inspiration to me. If you can do this on your own in Europe, I should be able to do it here in Canada. I think my soul needs to try van life on weekends. Definitely thinking of rental a van and trying it out. 😊

I’m very curious of how long you can actually keep your vehicle in Europe for ? Cause I know you can stay in Europe up to six months do you have to arrive back home? does your vehicle have to follow you back home or can you just leave it there
@KrystaNorwick
@KrystaNorwick 11 месяцев назад
The vehicle can stay in a country based on the individual country’s regulations. So you can leave your vehicle there and go home for a bit and come back.
