I am going to show you how to make a super delicious salad using endives. Many people do not know what to do with it because they find it bitter or they dont know how to cook it. Today I am going to show you 2 things: first, how to cut an endive properly to remove all the bitterness. Two, how to pair up the endive with other engredients to get the perfect salad! This is one of the many European recipes that was adopted by many Moroccan tables, including the home where I grew up!
INGREDIENTS:
2 endives
1/4 cup of cheese cut into cubes (e.g. gruyere, havarti, etc.)
1 small apple
1/2 cup of walnut halves
1 vinaigrette portion - around 1/4 cup (check Alia's Tips: Homemade Vinaigrette)
