One of my favorite songs written by the great Tommy Emmanuel.
This piece was written during a time of great change in Tommy's life and has many moods and movements. Tommy says, "This song is about a journey. It tells us that as we go down the road we encounter problems and changes and we weather through them and then get back on track". It's a very inspiring song. Hope you like it

I'm trying to follow the video with tab with absolutely no hope it sounds OK but completely different the phrasing completely off. I don't want to learn anything else now though. Pure torture.

@@DannyTrentGuitar I am currently learning this song. I think the bottle neck for me is the run on the high e-string at 2:56 . How did you practice that part (apart from as slowly as possible)? I am trying to keep a steady, slow rhythm with the picking hand and sort of just attempt to slide with my left ring finger up on the fret board trying to hit every note. But this is already difficult at slow speeds... Do you have any tips? Thank you!

Awesome job. Congratulations on getting this one down especially all the subtle nuances of the song. It’s a tough song to play and I still struggle with a couple parts. Eventually I’ll finally get. Memorization of is the hardest part for me.
