Indeed! I was expecting to have long outrun that fellow, even with our below average speed, and I did not even think of him much anymore. That Sun in the background reminded me of the day and night cycles so prominent in this game that I thought, hm, danger might lurk, no? And there he was! I am glad you enjoyed the journey! This game tore me apart, but I loved it. Chocolate is indeed a true hero to set a good leading example for Panda going forward, hopefully they will manage somehow. There's a bonus episode next week should you be interested, it may show a couple events that I initially missed. Edit: Also, that ending track felt awfully familiar. It does appear to be the song that the wandering musical friend is playing throughout the game, and which you can also hear collectively sung around the campfire much later in the game. It hits quite differently in the ending. I'd like to think that the fox and her kits enjoyed the music produced through the experience, and in her dying moments she heard this to allow her a peaceful perish, along with the cubs a last goodbye. Life is cruel, but life must go on. At least they have each other for the time being, and perhaps I can make things a tiny bit better in the next episode in those regards.
