@@akshita4771 that one actually made sense since Jude didn't 'change' cardan or was expecting to 'change' him. She equally hated his guts and her admiration for him being a faerie prince, and cardan didn't change- he matured while keeping his personality after becoming king and seperating from his abusive family and admitted that he deserved all the hate he gets. Now that's a GOOD romance trope with redemption for male leads deeds compared to the 'I CAN CHAHGE HIM' wattpad stories XD

There is no enemies to lovers in the first book and 2 his personality changes in the other 2 books it’s not like he’s immediately a good person in the first book, the first book their banter was bad cause it was just Cardan trying to kill Jude and after the first book there’s no banter. A good romance book should have romance not Jude kissing cardan cause he thought about her too much. The character development should be in the first book alone

I don’t know why, but I somehow have the opposite situation. Like I usually have two characters who really hate each other, like they’ve said and done a lot of vile and awful things to each other. For example, one character literally cursed the other to die a horrible death or idk shot them. And there’s no way they would fall in love or even become friends after that if they are in their right minds.

And usually in my stories it happens that there’s no romantic or sexual tension between those two characters or at least there are none of those things in the beginning of the story. And idk why, but I also get bored by the idea of those two characters being in relationship with each other and loving each other.
