The Karta/Yajamana recites this Mantra in all Pitru Ceremonies like Tarpana, Shraaddha etc, as Upastana (Prayer) Mantra to their Ancestors.
After invoking the Pitrus, Yajamana stands before the Pitrus, asking help and blessings from them, for happy family life and protection.
These 3 Mantras appear in Rig Veda also; Mandala-6, Sukta-75, Mantra-9,10,11.
It is believed that our deceased ancestors (Pitrus) possessing unbelievable powers to help us in most difficult situations, when they are prayed loudly.
You can hear the powerful Ghana Patha recitation of these Mantras with great energy, high pitch, speed, clarity, punch and voice synchronization.
Meaning of this Mantra:
*Power of Fathers*: The fathers (Pitara:) who are very powerful (Shakteevanta:) with profound (Gabheera:) mind, reside in pleasurable places (Svaadusham), bestowing strength (Vayodha:) to us at difficult situations. They are always unbeatable (Amrudhra:) by enemies because, they are with wide-range of hosts (Citrasena:) consists of real heroes (Sadoveera:) who conquered (Urava:) many hosts (Vraatasaaha:) in the past, supported by powerful arrows (Ishubala:).
*Blessings for protection*: Let the Brahmins, father and people deserving Soma (Divine drink) bless us, for our protection. Let the un-menaced (Anehasaa) heaven and earth (Dyaavaa Prutivee) be auspicious (Shive) to us. May Pooshan, the guardian of truth (Ruta Vrudha:) protect us from misfortune. You protect me. Let us be unbeatable by any foes.
Feather: A feather (Suparnam) is her garment (Vaste) and a deer (Mruga:) is her tooth (Danta:). She is tied (Sam naddha) with cow, but when shot, she flies (Patati) . Where (Yatra) men (Nara:) run together and apart, let the arrows grant us safety there. Here "she/her" refers to "arrows".
