ENERGIZING!!! | Our First Time Reaction to Bloodywood - Machi Bhasad 

Welcome to Bloodywood! Their name is a metal take on India's Bollywood industry. The band classifies themselves as folk metal, not Nu-Metal (which is, more or less, the hybridization of rap with metal). And yes, Raoul is a rapper. Not everyone is a big fan of the rap parts, but most of us absolutely love it. I would suggest withholding judgment on those parts until you've heard at least one more song. By the way, that guitarist? He's multi-talented. In the first link below, watch him rock a metal flute solo. Yep, you read that correctly. He's also the primary composer of their music. The guy that does the screams also has a beautiful singing voice. For more screaming, I recommend Gaddar. For beautiful vocals, Zanjeero Se.

Definitely check out more from Bloodywood! Jee Veerey, about fighting depression, Aaj, an inspiring anthem & Yaad, about handling the loss of a loved one, are all fantastic. Endurant, about bullying, is my personal favorite & Dana Dan (turn on CC) is the band's hardest song from their self-produced, debut album Rakshak (the gaurdian/protector). These guys are genuinely some of the best humans out there. Stay for any messages after the songs for wholesome confirmation ☺️

India has more native speakers of English living in it, than England does, and more total speakers of English (L1 and L2 added together) than North America. Granted, they have even more native speakers of Hindi (the other language in the song).

plenty of bands nowadays use 7- or even 8-string guitars (some more than that). it's never been a defining point of Nu-Metal. And yes, what Raoul does with his microphone there, that's called rapping ;)
