Allied Pilots expect their planes to perform... Axis Planes expect their pilots to perform... So it is with 190's and 109's. The pilot makes the plane.
The plane is good, but matchmaking is cruel to it. + half of team of 288 and 177 making it almost imposible to win, cause you often find yourself alone at high alt vs multiple enemies. For a 5.7 br it's easier to play yak3u, mk9lf, ki84, at least they do better than k4 at full uptier matches.

@@levoderso7469 I’ve had that issue a lot recently too, I recorded many games that I didn’t put in the video because everyone dove away from me, and I only ended up getting a kill or two. It sucks but that just seems to be the move now days, diving all the way to the ground.
In all honesty, I like Ta-152H A LOT more. I mean, in today's MM. K4 makes more sense since Ta has to fight jets almost every match. But the ability to straight up out-dogfight P-51H and sometimes even Spitfire Mk XVIII is something different. Manual PP (hehe) is a good choice during climb and prolonged chases. It can be also utilised as airbrake and for a quick boost in thrust, however, my keybinds don't allow for that in all honesty. What keys are you using for prop pitch settings? Also my favourite belt for MG151/20 is stealth. I use MG131 IAI to walk my shots on target, but I find the more balanced composition of stealth belt (AP-I, APHE, 3xM-geschoss) to be better for longer range shots where only AP can reach the target - APHE is way more effective in such cases thatn IT shell).
@@bezimienny_andzej6425 I like the Ta-H a lot too, but k-4 will always be my favorite German rank 4. Stealth rounds are good in some cases. I use them on the A8 since there is 4 20s, but not on other 109s
@@MacWithGun I have found that MG131 with IAI delivers just enough HE damage so I can get away with a bit less explosives in the main belt. In all honesty, I have this kinda dumb habit of shooting energy-trapped people with MGs only. It works all the time 90% of the time :P
@@MacWithGun I greatly prefer watching solo gameplay. With a squad you can get away with being a lot more aggressive, staying below the enemy and generally you almost always will be able to get the upper hand even vs very good opponent - if you get someone on your tail, someone else will pressure them. If enemy is above you - all you have to do is to drag him a bit down and towards the friendly. No need to be "super creative". WIthout squad you are guaranteed to be on your own with teammates either ignoring enemies on your six or ACTIVELY avoiding helping you. by turning to the side and flying away while being in a perfect position to attack. Anyway, great gameplay, especially the 1 v 1 examples (I'm absolutely horrible at 1 v 1, and it doesn't help I enjoy spamming Fw 190 F8 and Wyvern. And don't underestimate P-59. That thing can casually pull 15Gs. And it can go like 690 at high alt for whatever reason, so apparently it has quite a bit of thrust. Luckily it climbs like sh... and most people flying it will overcommit to dogfights because being able to outturn LF Mk IX is quite hilarious if you ask me.

@@austinsavage4390 if we simplify it down to just you and me, no other enemies around, the best thing you can do is wait and try to stay behind me, because eventually when I run out of energy you will win the rate fight. You also could have ran away because you were faster, then boom and zoom me. GGs!

Ah the bf109 k4 i remember matches were i see low tier planes around me after always getting uptier just to realise the enemy is filled with 6.0 full fighter team because all the german bombers afe 6.0🥲
