Could someone explain to me why the KE isnt just 0.5mv^2? why the (x0^2-x^2) at the end?

0.5mv^2 is the KE in terms of v. The (x0^2-x^2) is the KE at each displacement x of a shm.

Sorry I don’t get the part where you said the total PE of the oscillation ought to be zero at the equilibrium position 5:42 when the spring still has EPE and GPE at the equilibrium position?

It all depends on your choice of reference zero point. Commonly, EPE of a spring is chosen to be zero when it is unstretched, and GPE of a mass is chosen to be zero when it is on the floor or some lowest point. But there is nothing to stop you from choosing another zero reference point. By definition, the PE of an oscillation (pendulum, spring-mass, whatever) is zero at the equilibrium position because at that point, KE makes up the total energy, and thus PE should be zero (because TE=KE+PE). In a vertical spring-mass system, PE of oscillation comes from (changes in) the EPE of the spring and GPE of the mass, but with the zero reference point shifted, so that EPE+GPE is zero at the equilibrium position.

I can use a winding spring to truly measure that calorie with elasticity sir. Before someone ever measured a calorie with a expansion spring sir. Princeton Hall has a great example already published thirty years ago showing that there is no calorie/energy from a expansion spring sir. Just acceleration, force and resistance.

Hello. Your saying energy in physics without a physical prop. So if I handed you a thermometer to measure and prove that calorie transfer of energy on the y-axis with Hookes prong mass system. Your going to have a real hard time showing that delta of energy with real physics prop. A piece of paper isn’t a physical prop with metric measuring tools sir.
